Ordered just one box and it came in a box by itself (could possibly fit in a regular to large mailbox, but UPS brought it to the door. ) Arrived super fast, ultimate guard package box holding it, brand new. That was ideal because I was at home). It's a little darker pink than I expected, but it's still pink, so I'm pleased. Because the first photo may be a little blurry, I included two more. In the other photo, I've placed it next to a 100 red to yellow chromaskin sidewinder to demonstrate that it's pink, not red, and that the two are nearly identical in size. The ultimate guard boulder is a little smaller on one side (width or length) than the others. 100 double-sleeved MTG cards can still be stored. I don't have to worry about it popping open in my purse, backpack, or messenger bag because it clicks together very securely.
While this box is certainly sturdy and secure, it does have a few flaws. br>br>For starters, while it closes securely, it can be difficult to open, and when it does, it can open abruptly, spilling your card. br>br>Also, the inside of the box is slightly narrower than a standard deck box; it holds sleeved cards fine but is too narrow to use standard dividers such as those sold by Ultimate Guard.
This deckbox, in my opinion, is the best 'utilitarian' deckbox currently available. This is not the box for you if you want to make a statement with your deckbox and make it look cool or whatever. However, if all you want is a cheap, sturdy box that won't crush your cards and won't open up in your bag, I believe this is the best value for money deckbox I've ever seen.
I've found that the Ultimate Guard Boulder 100 boxes are the best for storing sleeved trading card decks. They're simple to open, but they're not self-opening. They're small, and Ultimate Guard manufactures Arkhives and other containers specifically designed to hold multiple Boulders. For those who need to transport trading card game decks, this is a must-have item.
In dim lighting, it begins to turn red. Smaller than many deck boxes, but wider to allow for more card storage. 100 pink sleeved cards and a few extra unsleeved cards are what I use in mine.
I can't say enough good things about these deck boxes, especially if you're a commander player. I can still fit my single-sleeved commander decks with tokens in there.
Any fan of board games will enjoy this addition. The material is both sturdy and soft to the touch. Root, Epic Spell Wars, Grimslingers, and other standard-size decks look fantastic with it.
