Questions & Answers

Is it possible to drink straight from the spout without having to use the straw? Do I have to wash my face with water?

Neither I nor anyone else knows if this will drip, but the straw is attached to a small port so that fluid can be drawn The flip up no straw is your best option if you want a spout

How well does it work on 12 oz bottles?

With the straw going all the way down, I use it for my 40oz bottle. may be too long for your 12 oz beverage, but you can cut it if you like.

Is it compatible with the fifty/fifty v25003or0 solar vacuum - Are you interested in a stainless steel bottle (25 oz) that is insulated?

It will fit if it has a wide mouth. My research has even led me to discover the bottle fits many other wide mouth bottles as well. There is a wide range of thread patterns for wide mouths

When is the straw going to be done? Can I use it with a Fifty/Fifty 40 oz bottle?

For the 40oz bottle, yes, the straw works just fine. It fits in the forty ounce bottle and I have had no problems in the past.

You can't go wrong with 50/50's performance and value! There is no doubt that more people are drinking water, but the Hydro Flask brand water bottles are simply too expensive
4/5

Although this is not a review of the product, I think the 50/50 brand is a perfect substitute for the overpriced Hydro Flask brand. A 40 oz. bottle of water is available to me. This huge bottle takes up so much space that I probably should have bought a smaller one however, I carry it with me daily. By the way, I noticed on Reddit that the 50/50 company is actually run by the divorced wife of the Hydro Flask guy now. This is where the name comes from. Although I'm not sure if that is true or not, if it is, then that is excellent! To me, the lid that comes with the bottle I purchased is of no value. Finding a lid for drinking water with a flip-top was important to me since I bought this to drink more water I loved the up spout provided by the same company that produced my water bottle. It's hard to beat the price, and it was a stupidly easy decision to buy this one. It seems like the straws included with my bottle were designed to be too long for it undoubtedly an oversight on the part of the manufacturer. Before I was satisfied with the straw length, I attached the straw to the lid and tried a few different fittings. By angling the cut so that it would run up the straw, I was able to let the last dredges of water into the straw if the straw was to go up against the bottom of the bottle. I have a problem with the lid fitting properly. It's hard for me to put into words what it is. In order to ensure that the threads of the bottle lid are engaged, I think I must press down a bit on it when screwing it on. I really like the way it fits once it's engaged. The silicone gasket engages the water bottle once I hear the squeak that indicates it has been screwed down. I never have a leak with it. There's no need to worry about anything leaking out of the bottle when I throw it in the car. In the end, it's a great solution, much better than Hydro Flask, and a more cost-effective alternative. I highly recommend their bottles as well!.

cannot be insulated since there is no insulation! This was something I really wanted to love
3/5

In the end, I ordered this as well as the cap for my 40oz bottle and a straw when drinking anything. This lid has two problems for me There is one We found the straws to be slightly too short. This wasn't a big deal, but we did find it a bit But the second issue is very disappointing for me. It's not as good as the standard twist off lid or flip top lid at retaining temperature - it keeps it less as long with this lid on. In both cases, there is some insulation to help retain the heat. There is no straw lid on this bottle. The twist off lid is an excellent alternative to the flip top lid, because it will keep the bottle cool and has a way to attach it to the bottle. However, although the twist off lid has a way to attach to the bottle, I might still end up using it to.

My vacuum sealed bottle fits perfectly in this jar! This book is highly recommended! Thanks for making this product available for purchase
5/5

I'm so glad I decided to purchase it. I am amazed by how many different brands of vacuum sealed/insulated water bottles there are on the market. However, the Fifty/Fifty bottles and accessories are very reasonably priced, which makes them that much more appealing to purchase. A quality product Those that purchase this lid and straw combo will be impressed by its The bottle can be grabbed and taken anywhere without a hassle. The flip top is the best part! It is so easy to just suck and grab a drink while hiking, walking, etc. With the wider section to grip, it makes it easy to hold onto while hiking, walking, etc. This is in contrast to the screw top lid, where you need to unscrew it, tilt it back (which will leave ice sloshing around your mouth),

All in all This product is amazing and if you don't have a lid like this yet, you're missing out. The life of everyone will be easier with this. This is a HIGHLY recommended book.

I have issues with air getting into the straw when drinking
4/5

Would benefit from a stronger plastic and consistent air getting into the straw. This would be so much better if the plastic was stronger! The metal water bottle I had before I got the case often dropped (I had to buy four of these This thing) and while it worked just fine, the plastic handle broke every time. Additionally, some of them have this bubble effect when you drink from them, which can be really annoying and makes drinking a lot of water impossible without feeling like you're sucking in too much air as well. When it works right, the program is excellent, but when it does not, such as when I need to replace one that works because it broke, the next one will have problems. There are a lot of things that are really frustrating about this.

I am unimpressed
3/5

The finish is cheap, fragile, and feels cheap. As I had a 40oz Fifty/Fifty bottle, I was concerned that the straw wouldn't reach to the bottom of the bottle. I'm happy to report that the straw does reach all the way down to the bottle of the 40 oz There is the bad news the cap feels flimsy and cheap, with the feeling that it will break at any moment. In addition, I find that the finish on the plastic around the straw has rough edges and catches my lips and tongue when I use it. Sadly, I'm a little disappointed with it on the whole. It appears to be a fake compared to the Yeti version and bottle that is comparable. It is true that Yeti branded items are more expensive. However, if I could find a Yeti or other branded lid that fits the FiftyFifty bottle, then I would be happy to.

There is a great handle on the flip-cup, and the flip-cup is reversible The most important It is convenient to have a spout
3/5

There is a leak in the lid sometimes, and the straw doesn't even fit. wanted a spout that I could flip open simply with a flip of a lever, and the handle made it very easy to use. I got a different color lid with a grey/blue spout, and the lid is not the same as the picture. The black on mine is all over. It doesn't really matter to me what color the frame is, but I did want to This is not the kind of work I would give high marks to. Despite the fact that the straw always dries out in two ways, it leaks. The leaks must be dealt with first. The threads tend to leak if the lid is "tight", meaning it is as tight as you normally expect a lid to be. I believe the gasket/oring is made of the wrong material, as it deflects too much and buckles, allowing the seal to break. In turn, this means the fit needs to be a little tight, which can create another issue. The lid will come loose if you tip it over or bump it, or in any other case, it will start pouring out on its own. When the spout is closed, the other way the water leaks is through the silicone breather hole at the top. There are times when the container dribbles out while bouncing around on a trip, but it doesn't always happen. Second, you should. I am at the end of my rope. It takes too much effort to use, according to some users. It never got a chance to be used by me. There are two times as many straws as there are spouts. I feel like the lid was never meant for this.
