I will buy from this seller As a replacement for the flat, brick red plate our little league provided us with for team practices, I purchased this. There's no doubt that this rubber plate is durable and heavy. The mat is not partially buried since it is used for practices. The pad sits on top of grass when not in use. With most practices, it stays at the exact spot where I placed In the unlikely event that I do need to readjust it, it will be because of my OCD and my apex will be off by less than 1/2".

The home plate is of good quality

I ordered it for my son and daughter to use as they practice baseball and softball. Playing the plate in the yard or on the field is suitable since it is full size and is the right thickness. There are some cheaper plates that lay flat on the grass, but this one is visible from the outfield. It turned out to be a wise purchase.

Throw this in the air and it is perfect- You can practice with this plate. It is full-sized Is a good size, heavy, durable, but still fits easily into my equipment bag, and does not have spikes I have On my son's team, I use it to coach pitchers, and when games are played, I use it to set up a bullpen. Quite easy to do.
