Don't waste your money on a sophisticated watch that needs to be charged almost every day.
I bought it for the GPS breadcrumbs, poi, and route recording, all of which work as expected so far. However, it is VERU dim. It's difficult to read the time without a backlight unless you're in direct sunlight. I almost always run 100% contract and backlight on just to tell the time. Also, the interface sucks. There appears to be no consistency in what the three right-hand buttons do and when they do it. I'm probably going to revert to a Gshock and Fortrex setup.
My watch became unusable after I was unable to synchronize it early on. It was also difficult to use the tracking map. I made the switch to Garmin.
The gear is extremely reasonably priced. It performs exactly as it should. There is a slight learning curve to get used to it, but it is extremely reliable. This is something I would recommend to military personnel, law enforcement officers, search and rescue personnel, and outdoor enthusiasts.
It isn't a Garmin with the ability to add faces, apps, and widgets. However, all of the functions included in the package are well-executed.

The step counter is extremely inaccurate, which is a shame because the watch is otherwise excellent. I'm returning it due to the fact that it was one of the main reasons I bought it. In comparison to my Microsoft band, it has a longer battery life, more features, and a clearer display. Step counter recorded steps taken while sleeping and typing/sitting at a desk, totaling 15-minutes. 20% more steps while walking than my phone or Microsoft band during my walking during my walking during my walking during my walking during.
I like that it can run indefinitely on a 2032 battery!.
