Yes. My 5700 Elite with AB is compatible with it.

Is it compatible with the Kestrel 3500nv series?

I have a 5700, so I'm not sure. I'd say it's highly likely based on the shape I see in the photos and my understanding of how mine fits in the taco facing either direction. Perhaps a fitment chart can be found on the Armageddon site.
