Questions & Answers

The display will be in mph, correct?

Despite the change in the speedometer to mph, the odometer stays in kilometers

Could this be used on a kid's bike of 8 years old?

Of course, that's fine. I think your children will enjoy it, and it will be a great gift. We will be happy to hear from you if you have any problems with using our services.

Could you tell me the number of the tire circumference that should be set up on an electric bike with gears instead of ?

It's easy to determine the circumference of a tire if the tire size is on the sidewall of the tire. It is also possible to measure the diameter. If you measure the tire with a tape measure and calculate, or if you take a string scale, then you will know the diameter. It is best to convert directly to mm, or whatever unit you want

The magnet can be attached to the flywheel of an indoor stationary bike, but how would the magnet be secured?

DO NOT BUY IT, AS IT IS NOT ACCURATE, LOOKING AT A DIFFERENT ONE will demonstrate this

Only in the ballpark when it comes to speed and distance A timer can be used with no problems
3/5

My name is Peter and I am looking for a clock, so that I can see how long I have before being on time. There were no simple clocks that could mount on my bike (I had tried mounting a watch on my bike, but it would always rattle against the frame and vibrate loose) And I saw this for only 12 bucks, so I bought Because I am an engineer, and I previously had a mechanical one of these as a teenager, it was no problem for me to install and understand it. In light of the fact that this description of the device is not great, let me explain The speed of your bike is displayed along the way. This does not display the clock time until you quit scanning and exit the I notice that my speedometer shows numbers like 26 to 30 mph as soon as I start moving. The speedometer displays a reasonable value for my speed even when I am walking with my bike. When I get up to speed, it displays an even lower value. However, if I go up a hill at a terrible speed - for example, 22 mph - the instantaneous speed is displayed as 23 mph A speed of 29 miles per hour! Once I have crested the hill, the speed drops to something more believable, say 11 to 15 miles per hour. Until you reach a certain speed, it seems to read about twice the actual velocity, so I guess that somehow it is reading twice the real velocity. This means that your instantaneous velocity may or may not be as high as you expect. However, due to this bothersome inconvenience, the average velocity is also thrown off. The average velocity I always achieve is close to 15 mph since my maximum velocity starts off around 30 mph. In case I am mistaken, I could really be doing 28 mph when going up steep hills, in which case I need to sign up A
DOMETER. I also noticed that the trip odometer appeared to be out of synch. A wheel circumference of 2153 millimeters was measured by me. However, whatever distance I estimate on Google maps is always greater than what I actually travel. Yes, I use a 14-inch while going up a hill, but that only comes around once every six months or so Rides measured in miles seem to be about 17 miles on this device. In order to adjust my mileage to the actual mileage, I will try tweaking the wheel diameter entered. Therefore, you may conclude that the speedometer has a quirky feel and the odometer is worthless. I really just wanted to know how much time I had been riding, for instance. This seems to work fine, so far. Taking into account the fact that it doesn't display the current time while you are riding, you should look before you leave, and if you have to be back in 40 minutes, simply wait for the trip meter to reach 20 minutes before you turn around. Last but not least, I would like to mention that you might spend a lot of time checking out this fancy new gadget while you are driving, which might mean that your eyes aren't Make sure you are.

The system is reliable, simple to use, and very easy to maintain
5/5

The same model has been in my possession for three years and I keep purchasing it. basic, reliable devices that can provide you with speed and average speed as well as trip and overall distance accumulated. The device doesn't track cadence, heart rate, etc. It adapts easily to changing wheel sizes even if you use it to measure cadence. It is typical that the battery of a 2032 (sensor and computer) lasts for 6 months to a year. It has not been a problem for me to use them in rain. You can install it in just a few minutes with everything it comes with. It's hard to go wrong with this one at this.

The Cateye is a very good price and has a nice function
5/5

I owned a basic Cateye before it broke. A basic, affordable one seemed to be a good option for me. I have never owned a wireless device before. A 12 volt battery is required in addition to the usual 3 volt battery included with the device. It was easy to mount, but it took some time to get used to the settings. There could be some clarity in the instructions, but they are It's very functional, and I like it a lot. These improvements have been made from the Cateye On the speedometer, it goes down to tenths of a mile per hour, it stops when you stop and restarts when you go, and the odometer can be edited. The clock is also included in the dashboard. As of yet no complaints but only time will tell about how durable and long-lasting the batteries will be.

It is a great choice
5/5

I was really hesitant about this product, but I decided to give it a try. It was the right thing for me to do. I love how easy it is to set up and how good it works. My favorite way to know how fast and how far I ride is to see the speed and distance. Good value for the money. As well as the maintenance feature, I am quite impressed. Using the instructions in the package, I was able to install it on my bike in no time.

Assurance of accuracy
5/5

I’m able to accurately mark my training progress with this unit, as it tells me my speed, the distance traveled, and times on each ride. Each run can be tracked separately with regard to time and distance. Anyone who rides a motorcycle would definitely benefit from this unit.

The batteries need to be tested
3/5

As far as installation, it was easy until I ran into a problem with the transmitter. played around with moving it up and down the fork and repositioning the sensor for a couple hours. Then I watched a couple utube videos and read all the reviews and FAQs. The battery A26 provided with the device was finally tested. The dead are as much a door nail as the living. I bought a new battery (2 for 7 dollars) and it worked. A fairly sparse set of instructions is provided.

I am delighted
5/5

I was able to install it without any problems. I am delighted. I was able to install it without any problems. As long as you've installed a wired speedo before, you should have no trouble. All I had to do was position the sensor in the right place. I had to angle it closer to the wheel a It would have been nice to have a temperature sensor on my old Schwinn one, but love the new wireless model.

This is a great speedometer
5/5

It does not have the wires that some other models do, so it is easier to install and definitely has a cleaner look. I have had a couple of these and this one seems the best.
