How fast is this product when it comes to golf club heads?

A colleague of mine has used it to determine the speed of hockey pucks. The speed at which baseball pitches are thrown and tennis serves are my primary purposes. Having trouble reading the speeds was a challenge. The sound is difficult to hear if you aren't as close as possible to the unit. As the wind blew, it created readings when it blowing the net a foot in front of the unit.
