THINGS TO LOOK FOR As I have the data tracker on a fluid trainer and the front wheel does not rotate, I like the fact that I can use it on the rear wheel of my bicycle. Another trainer that I was using (and pretty much everything out there) couldn't be mounted more than 60 cm away from the pickup. An attachment to the handlebar was not possible. The fluid trainer is not being worked on. In any case, I did not buy the Raptor for the light, as I would have actually My understanding is that everything is fine. 750 Lumen Cygolites are the best night light for me if I'm driving at night. As a backup, I guess the Raptor's light would be sufficient if it's battery ran out. In addition, I like the fact that it has a backlight. It is easy to read the display. Using the data tracker is an everyday activity for me. Also from Shanren, I picked up the heart rate unit. As soon as it is paired with the Raptor, it communicates once it is powered on (I did not figure out how to turn on the HR transmitter- You can't turn it on or off I appreciate the fact that HR transmitters turn on as soon as they detect a heartbeat) and display heart rate in real time. Checked it against my smartwatch, and the readings are very similar. I now bring you the bad news. There is a great app called Shanren, but it is awful! Firing your software designers is the right thing to do!
