A magnet can theoretically be attached to a wheel with a nonspoke part, but some conditions need to be taken into account This is 1. It must be visible that the wheel is rotating. Then add 2. We need to find a way to keep the magnet in place on the wheel firmly and steadily. The *br>3 section. It should be possible to control the gap between sensor and magnet, and it should be able to fix within a small error. The diameter of this is 12 inches. The distance between sensor and display should be no more than 23 cm. I measured 6 inches in length.
Though theoretically it is possible, it is not recommended to do so in practice since the wireless computer requires a specific distance from the sensor to the body of the A bike display is usually mounted on the handlebars of the bike to provide an easy view of the rider and the distance between the sensor (which is mounted on a spoke) and the display body should not exceed 23 millimeters. You can't go wrong with this deal, and it works great. Despite my Cateye pride, I couldn't afford this inexpensive computer on my indoor trainer when I wanted one. I own one wireless Cateye on one road bike, and I could not justify the price of a Cateye on my indoor trainer. A number of days later, I moved the device to my other road bike and calibrated it there. Over the course of a week, I compared the odometer, speed and average pace on my Suunto watch to the data on my GPS watch, and they were within just a few thousandths of a mile.
In addition, the trip odometer registers miles to 1/ 1000th of a mile. This is the place where three decimals are added. This is amazing news, and it's spot on. The Cateye will be replaced with this one when the second unit goes out. I plan on buying a second unit to put aside for when the Cateye fails. My recommendation for this product is strong.
I like using it, but I don't think it should be so hard to 'zero' it out if I want to reset it. It still doesn't compare to the first one I got, but it's definitely better!.
It lasted six months before the battery died.
Unless something is amiss with the clock, nothing else works.
Instructions are hard to understand and hard to bring to life products don't quite fit the diagrams no product support after the sale and I don't want to call China
Overall POS is poor.
I found the installation to be fairly simple.
There was only one time when the speedometer was working now it never works. I have tried all the other parts and they work sort of, but don't.
The system is too difficult to operate and set up I found the instructions to be poorly written and In your case, if you're a computer geek, it might work, but I'm more likely to want to go biking than digitize.
