Throughout my ten years of using Garmin watches, I've owned 5 or 6. A Garmin Instinct was my last unit, which is a great hiking timepiece but lacks some of the health tracking features I want. My watch is gorgeous, slim, and small enough that I don't mind wearing it all the time. Health tracker devices such as the O2, sleep, stress and body battery, as well as heart rate monitors are all great to have. As it turns out, the O2 monitor is less accurate than my dedicated pulse oximeter, but I'm more interested in trends than absolute values. There is no lag in GPS tracking and connections are quick. I find this to be the best Garmin product I've ever owned so far.
I was a longtime Fitbit user and this was the perfect fit. The Garmin has proven to be the best option after extensive research. This is a great tracker that is a perfect size and shape. Besides providing a lot of information on the tracker itself, the app also offers a lot of information. This makes it easy to track workouts, recipes, and more. The only downside is that sometimes the screen does not appear immediately with a tap or raising my wrist. It is not a big deal, given all the great things I've written. Garmin would be my first choice for future purchases.
You need to tap the watch face several times to see the screen. There is a black screen when I want to see what time it is and it will not move when I move it. This can be a frustrating process. Galaxy Watch is much more responsive to wrist movement when on as opposed to Vivoactive, which at least has a constant display. Otherwise, it's an attractive watch and the garmin app provides a lot of useful information. The benefits of GPS during outdoor activities cannot be overstated.
The screen protectors of the watch were unnecessary. The external battery that came with it is nice. I got the combination that came with both the It would be nice if I could give the screen protectors their own review since they're terrible. I love this watch and would have preferred a different set of bands or something if I could have gotten it. However, the portable battery will come in handy on a golf course or at the beach for long days. The screen protectors caused me a great deal of Once again, this smartwatch is amazing. I've gone through 4 of them and could not get them to peel away from the protective plastic around your finger and hit off the actual sticky side. That way you can buy your accessories separately. I'd prefer that they just sell the watches at the same time. At times, watch does not appear to be very accurate with heart rate or stress level (for me, things like stress tend to be pretty gimmicky). Connect IQ is a must if you want to assemble any customized watch face because the stock faces are just There is a significant increase in battery life and it charges extremely fast. I have yet to test its accuracy on the golf course myself, but a friend has used one and it appears to be 10-times more accurate than the VivoActive 3. An accurate rangefinder has a range of about 15 yards and sometimes even 20 yards.
I was very pleased with the timely delivery and the product itself was excellent. It switched to the blue triangle before I was even able to finish setting it up, and now it will not Before shipping out an item this expensive, I would expect that it has been tested to guarantee its functionality. It took them almost no time to approve my return.
I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Garmin appearing during my online research, and after digging deeper, I decided to give it a chance. This watch is amazing, and it provides all the detailed information that I require. I really like the ease of use and the accuracy with which it reads. It is recommended that you do.
The graphic is nice, and the battery lasts a while. It still takes me a while to figure out how to use the music function, and the Bluetooth sometimes fails to work. Overall, I am quite pleased with the watch, although I am still learning how to use every function.
The bottom line A wonderful device, but DO NOT purchase the screen protector bundle that comes included in the Garmin Venu 2s. In this case, you're better off buying the watch from Garmin or another vendor, then buying the screen protector When I received the bundle, I attempted to apply the screen protector as soon as possible. It is packaged with 2 protective layers before application, one of which is removed before application (it covers the 'sticky' side), and another after application (it covers the touch side) of the protector. I have found it very difficult to remove the first layer. In the end, I had to take a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the protective layer after three unsuccessful attempts (out of four). In addition to this, the pliers caused a small amount of damage to the screen protector. It was an abject failure to test the battery pack, but it was an absolute catastrophe to test the screen protector.
