There's a suction mount included, so that's fine. The beanbag mount I use in my vehicle is made by Garmin, which I have found to be more effective.

There are some problems with the GPS system
4/5

A few things to be thankful for There is a large and sharp display on this computer. As good as I've seen so far in terms of lane guidance. (As far as my limited testing can tell, it seems like deviations caused by construction are updated quickly). We can update SW over wireless, you don't have to hook up a computer to do it. A good feature of this software is that route changes due to blocked traffic (accidents) are fairly fast. A manual is also included. Driving and reading it at the same time is not very convenient. Such a thing wouldn't be done by you, would it? If you do not want to take part, please It provides nice features that are useful for a GPS.

But the bad news I am unable to get a consistent volume from the device. Sometimes it's loud and obvious, sometimes there's barely During the trip, there is also a change in volume. If you don't get much help from asking for a volume change, then you can verbally request one. A failure to operate (me) may or may not have resulted in this The GPS manufacturers probably don't know why they keep putting suction cup mounts inside the boxes. In the past 25 years, I have never had a car that took a suction cup on the dash, and states are starting to ban windshield mounts. What a surprise to learn you needed to see through a windshield to drive. How do you know which states do not approve of You don't have to worry, the nice officer will stop you and explain if it's a problem. Mounts for this are available after market. Some are cheap, and some are not so cheap. *This is large enough that you might struggle to find the right place for it, depending on the layout of your vehicle. If you need to make sure the screen fits in your car, cut out a piece of paper or cardboard the same size as the display. I don't know if it's yours or not The Alexa feature on your Android smart phone, for example, can be tied to this. If you're looking for something stupid to do, you might take a look at your tower computer. Alexa has not yet convinced me to use it, since it seems to duplicate functions already provided by the GPS (make calls, play music, etc. however, I have only had this GPS for a few weeks, and so I am sure there are several things I would like to learn about it. It is highly likely that the Alexa connection was not meant to be cute, it probably serves some purpose I have not yet uncovered. There's a little bit of a learning curve to entering routes with stops along the way, so I did that for a two-hour trip with five stops. As soon as I entered everything, it worked just fine, but it took a lot of time to get everything entered. Instead of having to enter all the addresses in one sitting before I leave, I now enter them in advance and save them so I can select them as I go instead of trying to do so prior to the I guess that method may be more useful for people like me who have short attention spans because one never knows when they might need to divert to see the world's largest potato chip that resembles President Millard Fillmore's My review has been written around two weeks after using the app, sometimes under stress (needed to get to the ER, new construction, After I've used the GPS for a month or more I'll probably get wiser and discover that some of the stuff that seems inconvenient is actually not so bad after all. The book is good enough that I would buy it again or recommend it to my friends. I think if you can read instructions you will like the device because it has lots of nice features, nice display, and easy to use.

The horizontal screen is the only option, troublesome traffic and sometimes a wild goose chase is the result
3/5

If you have a small car with a smaller windshield, it might be a little too big for you. It is not possible to operate this GPS in VERTICAL or PORTRAIT modes. It is better for me to take pictures in In my opinion, it does not obstruct my view as much as I feel it does. It needs to be horizontal, though. Having used this GPS for a few months now, I can highly recommend it. The GPS I was using last week guided me to exit the highway needlessly, loop around, and get right back onto it when I was traveling on the Meadowbrook Parkway. So what the heck is going on? What is the best way to notify someone of such a stupid and dangerous error? As far as I was concerned, it was sending me on a This DriveSmart 65 features the TRAFFIC feature, so I purchased it for that purpose. What kind of traffic features are available? This is a very unreliable source. What source does it use to get its traffic data? It always says there is no traffic in front of me when I check the traffic conditions. While I sit in heavy traffic! Although it says no traffic ahead on the Garmin Drivesmart 65, the traffic report on the radio suggests there's major traffic. A blind creature must have done it. "The special power cord" for TRAFFIC works. However, when I zoom out, all I can see are distant roads that may be red, indicating slow traffic, but on the road I am currently on, there is nothing. Do you know how this works? I have never been alerted by this Garmin to traffic ahead (on the Hutch), that I could have easily I find them to be so Rather than using GPS, I'm going to use Google Maps and Waze. From 1992 to the present, I have owned many GARMIN GPS products. Definitely the best car GPS on the market. A manufacturer other than this one is not worth my money. In light of the advancements in GPS technology these days, it is less satisfactory for such kinds of travel errors. I would have returned this for another model without Traffic and Alexa if I could. Rather than using GPS, I'm going to use Google Maps and Waze. This is a model that I feel I wasted my money on. It is their flagship model, is it not? There should be a way for traffic to be more responsive and catch a traffic delay ahead before you hit
The ability to see your past trips, routes, and "bread crumb trails" (automatically save) is obvious, but I have no idea how to do it.
