There is no set date for when it will expire. I purchased it for my 13-year-old daughter, however. She consumes a large amount of water that is at room temperature. (I'd say she drinks at least 6 bottles per day, if not more.) I change her filter every 45 days because she drinks so much. I believe it is contingent on how much water you believe you will consume on a daily basis. It can be used for about three months on average before needing to be replaced. I hope this information is useful!

Probably not, in my opinion. The filter should be inserted into a specific opening in the straw of a brita bottle. As you drink, it filters out the impurities. If you put it in a non-brita bottle, it won't do much more than float.

The new filter does not resemble the original in appearance (it is cheap and chalky, whereas the original was more plastic-like). I've been trying to get water out of the straw for a while now and haven't been able to. I'm not going to buy these from Amazon again; instead, I'm going to buy them directly from Brita.
Although the filters I received were in good condition, the product was not brand new. I got a beat-up beat-up beat up beat up beat up beat up beat The filters inside were sealed in individual plastic sleeves and appear to be fine, but nowhere in the listing did it state that I would be receiving a box like this. Isn't this something that's been previously owned? It's a little strange, and it's not exactly what you'd want to see on a product that's supposed to deliver water to your mouth.
These do not appear to be genuine. They don't appear to be the same as the brita filter that came with my bottle. They don't feel the same when sucking water through this filter, and I have the impression that these aren't working as well as they should.
These are terrible; I don't think they're even close to being good. They leave black charcoal marks on the inside of my bottle, where you drink. It's revolting because I'm most likely ingesting some of it.
So, you know how when you have a soda pop and a straw in it, and you suck on the straw and get a drink right away? br>However, much to my disappointment, this water bottle is nothing like that. It's like sucking on a hose when you suck on this product's straw. If you've ever done something similar, you'll understand what I'm talking about. When you draw from the straw on this product, the air comes first, followed by the water! That does not sit well with me. br>I would not purchase this item again. br> In fact, because I missed the return deadline, I now have a useless product in my possession that I don't like or use. Ughbr>I hope my review is helpful in making your decision. br>If only I had known, I would not have purchased this product.
When I first got my bottle, I was completely enamored with it. Even though it is supposed to be filtered, the water where I work has an odd taste. These filters are useless because they do not stay connected to the cap.
I'm not sure why you'd be interested in reading a review of these - If you're looking to buy these, it's probably because you're in desperate need of them. For years and years, I've been a customer of this type of filter, and these filters have served me well.
For a while, my local store didn't have these (I believe it was due to a remodel), so I had to order them online; they seem to work well, and having a reusable filter bottle is much more convenient than having to fill up a pitcher and wait for it to filter every time I want to drink water. They really do last as long as they say they do.
