Questions & Answers

Can you tell me whether this barrel measures 2 1/4 or 2 5/8 inches in diameter?

Two and five eighths of an inch is the diameter of the barrel.

What is the stamp on this that states it's a baseball from the USA? That's not the case, right?

there is a stamp in the shape of a baseball

When it comes to the barrel, how big is it?

2 5/8 of an inch is the barrel diameter

What are the consequences of What is your experience with the 11? Has it really worked out as ?

There is more balance in this model than in the 2018. The actual drop weight has not been weighed for me to know how close it is to being the correct one. My son's swing is significantly faster in comparison to when he was a youngster. The 27 was dropped 11 and he has the 27. The only problem is that he's now two inches taller and needs to be a couple of inches longer. At the end of the regular season, the 2019 bat came out and all of my son's all-star teams used it in our tourney since it was the fastest bat at that point. For the price, the 2019 bat is a great deal.

Selected User Reviews For Rawlings 2019 5150 USA Youth Baseball Bat (-11, -10, -5)

I believe the 2019 bat is superior to everything I have demoed this year and bought for our teams
5/5

The bat just got here, and it was delivered a day earlier than expected. My son has already used it, and he loves it! A dramatic drop in prices It only took him a few more beats to get his swing faster, but he still had plenty This season, each of the 2018 bats we've used has been heavier than advertised and has a hard time making contact with the smaller kids. It was a different story today. There have been no complaints about bat stings so far. Everyone who has used it liked how it felt and was able to connect. The only thing I wish was that they'd make a 26" drop. For the tiniest kids on the team, 11 is all they need. For the price, this is a great bat!

Note- As well as the Louisville Omaha 27/17 (still a great bat), Rawlings Quattro 28/18, Easton Ghost X 28/18, and the Rawlings XW 18/20, we've used the following bats I could go on and on. This one is so far a light year above the rest!.

There is still a middle weight Featured in advertisements
3/5

I would suggest saving your money for those of you who own last year's model, and want a bat that is closer to its advertised weight. The image shown here is from a (claimed) bat measuring 27" and weighing 16 oz. This bat weighs 18 pounds, as you can see in the picture. The weight of this item is one ounce. Compared to the 2018 5150 27/16, our 2018 5150 weighs 18 pounds. There's 3 ounces in it.

This bat is perfect for kids in the 8U and 10U age ranges
5/5

My son's 8U team used it or asked their parents to buy one to use or for their own use, as it is a great alloy bat with great balance. The - is a problem for me as well As a result of the larger barrel diameter and total length of the 10, it has an advantage over Another way to state it is that the diameter is that much more extended, so your sweet spot is a bit longer, which is obvious when you look at pictures of it. In addition to the 11, there are also the . As a result, the sting in your hands will be less if the ball hits near the trademark on the ball With a score of 10 compared to a score of You'll love it!.

This is a great bat! In the summer, my 7 year old son plays 6U kid pitch travel baseball and I wanted to treat him to a quality 27" 16 oz bat
5/5

In spite of the 17. 4 oz weight, it was incredibly dense. It is 6 ounces, but he has consistently made contact with it and it has a good pop. The previous bat we had was a 26 inch and 15 ounce T-ball Thus, when we purchased the 5150, the height was increased by 1 inch, and the weight was increased This has a weight of 6 oz. A bat drag doesn't appear to be an issue, he seems relaxed. As a comparison, we picked up the 2018 Solo 618, 28" 17 ounce, which is also a great bat and weighed in at 17 ounces. This model weighs 6 ounces and measures 1 inch longer than the 5150. I saw my son swing both bats equally, but the 27" length of the 5150, which is 1 inch shorter than the Solo, clearly allowed him to control the bat better, as I saw him making consistent contact with the ball.

This is a great bat! This is to replace the Easton S650 we had
5/5

This was exactly the way I wanted it The bat is awesome. When we reached out to Easton corporate, they were unhelpful and refused to provide a refund or exchange unless we provided a receipt. I decided to use this bat in lieu of our Easton S650 bat, which broke its cap. Just after we switched from the USA bat to the Easton bat, I purchased a new Easton The Easton S650 was only in my possession for less than a month when the cap popped off. I don't think anyone abuses it or does anything to make the cap Since it was the beginning of baseball season, my kids rarely hit balls with it since they just hadn't had it long enough to play with it a lot. Easton's customer representative told me that I was out of luck since I did not have the receipt. The bat was supposed to have a warranty of 1 year. The "USA Baseball standard" version of this bat had not yet been on the market for a year when I purchased the bat, so I didn't have the purchase receipt. Because USA Baseball's new standard started just a couple months ago, why wouldn't the 1 year warranty already be valid? It was a problem I tried to explain to Easton, but they declined to listen. Our house is no longer infested with Easton bats! My kids will use other brand bats instead of Easton, which is a shame for me because I grew up using Easton bats.

The bat is a good value for the price
5/5

Having all the 5150s is the closest we have to what the bats looked like before the U. S. took over. For the money, this is a great bat. It's safe to assume your kid can't hit with a $400 bat if he can't hit with a 100 dollar bat.

For the price, this is a great bat
5/5

Among the 27" bats that we searched for for our son when he started little league at age seven - none of them were made for t-ball players An object. In the end, we bought him a 28" bat that was way too big for him, but he managed to do just fine in a recreational As he began to play club ball in a more active manner, it became painfully obvious that it was too heavy and too long Our latest tournament required this bat, and it was a night and day difference from our last bat. Because we expected he would only use this bat for a year maximum before he'd be ready to switch back to his 28", we did not put a huge amount of money into this purchase however, this bat has dramatically changed his swing and confidence. The bat is well made, well balanced, and the 27" size is perfect for smaller or younger players who want a "real bat" but not ready for the 28". There are not all that many options in 27", but this one Unlike a $300 bat, a $10 swing won't be fixed by a $300 bat. However, I believe that the length and weight of a child's bat can make a huge difference in their performance!.

Keep up the great work, I would like to see more from you
5/5

Ok, this bat is a great buy, I bought the 27 model for my son to use in the 9/10 league, and it has been great. This is keeping him in and closer to the plate. I would like to see him on a 28 or 29. This performance will include the following There isn't another bat which has the kind of pop that this one does, a lot of other kids now use it as well. There is also a solid pop to be heard.
