There were no scratches or marks on it when it arrived, and unlike other reviews, it is a very dark black, not grey, and it is very reflective. I love it, and I am excited to give it to my boyfriend for.

The color is shiny and is encrusted in a red sparkle. I definitely think it is sharper than the other KC plates that are half the price- well worth it!.

I really like this plate, except that the heat is extremely strong

I am very satisfied with the quality and appearance of the product. One disadvantage of the plate is that it generates Over the past couple weeks, we have had average temperatures of 100 degrees. In a year long hot climate like the south, the plate is beginning to separate, the glue holding the two halves together is coming apart. Overall, it's hardly noticeable, but for people who live in hot climates all year round, it may be a problem.

It is thick plastic so it appears to be durable enough for most uses. A star was taken away from this product because it has a grayish, reflective or mirror appearance to it which takes away from its If I were to choose a color, black would be my first choice.
