When I was younger, I used Vegas 7. Instead of using a free version, I figured, why not buy 16? I can afford it. I believe it is something I owe to the business. This program is a complete waste of time. After 5 hours of trying to figure out what the problem is, I still can't get it to work. Updates have been installed. Uninstalled any programs that may have been the source of the problem. I've tried both enabling and disabling suggested features, but the damn thing still won't work. It simply stops moving. This is the worst video editing software you can buy, and I swear the new company has completely ruined it.
There's a steep learning curve to get used to. Although I only used it a few times, rendering on my I9 was a delightfully indulgent experience. I'm going to use it a lot more in the near future. I'm hoping to find multiple audio and video tracks inside, as I've only discovered one of each so far. It's nothing like the Vegas of my youth.
I adore Vegas. I appreciate Sony's commitment to providing a high-quality product without the need for a subscription. Because editing software is a matter of personal taste, you'll get a variety of responses. Because I'm used to Sony editing software, I use Vegas, and you won't find a better value for your money. The sound editing options are good, but I can't say much about them because I mix my audio in my recording software, so I only use the levels and don't use the other sound options. I would strongly suggest it. There are a plethora of tutorials available on YouTube.
This works with the new iPhone's HEVC video format, whereas Adobe Premier Elements, which I've been using for years, is now effectively useless because it doesn't support the new iPhone video format. Yes, you can change the video format type on the iPhone to one that is compatible with all software, but that doesn't help me when a coworker sends me a video file shot on their iPhone. br>br>This software has far more capabilities than I'll ever require, but it appears to be the best software for editing the training videos I produce at work. This is all I use it for: rotating video, cropping, splicing, and normalizing audio levels, and it works great.
I've been using Vegas for nearly a decade. This is an incredible program. I began with Vegas Studio/Suite, and after several versions, I took advantage of the opportunity to upgrade to this slightly older version of the Pro, primarily for the masking features. I shot, edited, and published my creative experiment in 15 minutes, despite never having used the pro before. This is why Vegas is, without a doubt, the best video editing software available. It's small, quick, and simple to operate. It's very simple.
Did I mention that the rendering is extremely slow? What I dislike about the program is that it took 2 hours to render 20% my 10 minute video . I canceled the rendering because completing a 10-minute video would have taken 10 hours. What a load of nonsense. To me, this is a completely useless program because completing a 10-minute video will take half a day. I was completely duped. As a result, don't squander your cash. In addition, my desktop computer has significantly more processing power than is required to produce high-quality videos.
Prior to this, I was using Sony Vegas 13 and, while I had no complaints, I thought this was a good price to upgrade. The program is set up in the same way as 13 was, so I didn't have to waste time learning it, and it handles the preview window better. Also, all of my previous projects from 13 are open in 16, so I didn't lose any clips that I hadn't yet rendered. I have yet to render with it because I usually load up a few projects and leave them to render while I go do something else, but hopefully I will be able to compare it to the old program in the near future. It also includes magix music maker, which is a free program that I had no idea existed until now and has been a lot of fun to use to create basslines.
Time limit: ten minutes Every ten minutes, the program crashes. As a result, I've developed the habit of saving my work whenever I make even the tiniest change to my project; in the rare instances when I go on an editing binge and forget to save the project, I lose hours of work. br>On top of that, every time you start the program, you'll be prompted to upgrade to the most recent version of the software. Even if you select "Don't show this message again," the window will appear every time you open a project; I mean, it does the job, but I was expecting a better product for the money I paid for it.
