Sadly, the laptop I received from someone who is now deceased required a reset disc to make it work. My laptop would not allow me to log in or access the password, even though they left it with me. Despite being fairly new, this Acer Aspire 15 looked almost new. Several articles led me to purchase the disc, so I purchased it after doing research. Everything I was instructed to do was followed. My laptop didn't have any access to anything. My CD never brought me to the BIOS screen and I was not able to reboot from it. The only way I could fix the laptop was to take it to someone who could do He told me that there were a lot of locked codes on this laptop, so he was unable to access it as well. As a result, the disc I tried did not work. My disc was purchased, but now I have to reimburse the technician who installed it. When you decide to purchase the program, I hope it will be of use to you.

This is a great idea! It took me a long time to find this old laptop from a few years ago, and I couldn't remember my password, so I found it in the junk drawer

My intention wasn't to buy this at first, but I figured I would give it a shot before going to Best Buy (they charge more than $100 for this). My jaw dropped when I saw it!
