My 2011 iMac is running OS X version 6. As soon as I attempted to do so, I received a computer message telling me that High Sierra 10 was required. It took me a while to install 10 because I had to have 13 installed first. There is no longer a version 10 available on iTunes. In their store, you can find 13 items! It was only after scouring the Internet that I came across this product on Amazon and was able to successfully install Using the instructions on the DVD, I was able to install 10. Check to see if your DVD drive is compatible with your computer

The disk I was trying to read was not recognized by my iMac, and I didn't know it was damaged. Despite my attempts to return the item, returning it back to Canada cost about the same as the item itself because of customs fees and shipping. If you are planning to purchase a computer, be sure that it works properly before buying.

installed it, but it didn't work. The fact is. Due to the lack of GUILD, it would not do the installation on an external hard drive. Well, I think it's because my stuff is too old and I am too tired to try anything new. It's an old Mac, so it's not too new.
