For a reasonable price, this is an excellent piece of software. I have used older versions for I gave my review only 4 stars because PhotoImpact 13 will not run on a Windows 10 system that was upgraded from a Windows 8 system. It seems that at least one other reviewer brought this up. With the screenshot of the Windows Error Log emailed to tech support, I sent them an email. Their response was fairly quick, but they did not acknowledge the need for a new computer. My guess is that it is another program that starts at It was suggested that I eliminate the startup programs and return the software to Amazon if that did not solve the problem. This and various other solutions were tried on 3 upgraded PCs, but all had the same result. The application installs without issue, but crashes a few seconds after it has loaded. Eventually I was able to get it to run and install without issue only when I installed it on a machine with a freshly installed copy Version 2. 0 is not an upgrade. There were no issues with that machine's startup programs because they were identical to the ones on mine. It is clear that the company needs to acknowledge this issue and come up with a fix. In other words, be wary if you're running an upgraded version of Windows 10. As long as that does not present a problem for you, I highly recommend this.
PhotoImpact has been my primary software for over 20 years since I received a partial product and an old scanner from a computer show called PhotoImpact 3. With photo Paint, photoshop, and a host of other graphic programs, I can work fast and efficiently. Having so much material at your disposal allows you to do so many different projects with PhotoImpact. The company was first acquired by COREL, then by ULEAD. With a cost of under $100 and the freedom to use it without committing to a monthly subscription, this product easily competes with PhotoShop. It would be a good idea to recommend this fantastic software package to others. I am just blown away.

Nonetheless, I had just purchased a new computer that did not have a disk drive, so I thought this would be the ideal solution since it said you got a link to download the program. The link provided led me to PhotoImpact, but it didn't appear in the list to download, so I was extremely There was no point in spending money on it.
Software that is great for editing. The interface is very user-friendly, as well as easy to learn. As a default viewer, I would love to set it up. Photo Impact 4 was used to create the image. 0. I loved it and have been using it for many years. I tried to install it on Windows 7 but it didn't work. Although there are many new features in 13, the overall look and feel are quite similar to that of 4. It takes some searching to find all of the information in the enclosed manual because the index is rather scanty. The table of contents and the index can be flipped between to overcome this issue. The product is very versatile, well worth the price. When I loaded the files, I noticed that they still had the old ULEAD extension.
