This was not uploadable into my system, which I hated
3/5

The advertisement stated that it was the most recent version, so I assumed that I would be able to download it to my computer, but when I attempted to install it, it stated that it was incompatible with my operating I am on a fixed income, so losing any money can seriously affect my budget. Unfortunately, the return policy states that software does not have a refund policy, so I am out of luck and stuck with a $80 loss. A better advertisement would have included names of the platforms compatible with the software and the information about the Thank you for your kind words,.

We have experienced multiple outages due to the software (server side)
3/5

Taking into account its ease of use, Net Nanny software is ok. Unfortunately, reliability isn't as good as it could be. If you want to give your child more time, you will have to disable the app. In that case, you will need to keep track of time and It's also not possible to get an alert or status/nothing notifying you when the app is going to be down and when it might return. I advise you not to buy this unreliable piece of software. From the point of view of usability While it mostly does the job, sometimes it is difficult to figure out how to use it. Once you figure it out, however, it is relatively straightforward but still not intuitive (kind of hard to navigate to the right place if you want to add more time). The only option is the phone app, which is a bit frustrating as well since it does not have a PC or internet component. My recommendation is not to do so.

The problem is that, even when it does work, it actually does not, blocking false stuff like pharmaceutical citations while allowing other explicit content to pass
3/5

It has taken me more than a year to figure this software out. At first I think I was getting warnings and then I realize I do not. When I find out that it hasn't worked for months, I get upset. Apparently someone at the company does not check or send updates on new operating system updates, so they are always forced to work around them. Don't forget to check it daily if you don't wish to leave your family exposed. The problem is that, even when it does work, it actually does not, blocking false stuff like pharmaceutical citations while allowing other explicit content to pass. A very disappointing experience.

Secure your network Good and Fair are not the same thing
3/5

A good solution is not just a good solution. These are the phones we bought for our kids. I was so confused by it the moment I turned it on and configured it. The use of a "Control" of this type and implementation (on my phones) It should be transparent how the control is conducted. This is not the case, however. You can do this if you want to irritate your children and embarrass them in front of Their phones should be loaded with this app. There's nothing better than an app that screams Net Nanny. A Net NANNY is a little lady. This NANNY is from the Net. You can expect a confession from me. The right thing isn't for you until you are older. We have a mother! This is true It should be clear now what I mean. In any case, the program should gracefully fail in the background instead. They even approach the security controls looking for ways to circumvent them when it screams Net NANNY so loudly. Hence, it is very important for the control to be transparent and to In any event, I have no idea where we are going I DO believe that this is imminently going to be axed.

Checking email - since when is it a sin? In addition to tech support, I provide remote assistance
3/5

A week ago, I spent time working on a problem where a user was able to open the Outlook Web page, but couldn't click anywhere on it. Nothing worked for him, no mail could be accessed, no mail could be created. After updating the OS, clearing caches in both Safari and Firefox, resetting TCP stacks, deleting preferences, and some other things, we could not get the program to Its disabling caused everything to start working again nearly immediately. The purpose of blocking objectionable web content would seem to be to disable Outlook Web Access, but why would that happen? It seems the moral of this story is if you run into scripts or pages that don't work properly, check to see if you have any of these parental control programs installed.

What to do in order to lose money and time
3/5

My two-bedroom apartment was the subject of a purchase a month ago NetNanny 7 is only available in the seat version. The first time I did it on Windows 8, I spent two hours trying to make it work. It only works on one machine. There are bugs As an automatic part of the installation process, the software tries to connect to NetNanny at the end of the process. I don't think so. In order to resolve the problem, I stopped the antivirus software and the firewall (as they advise to do when connection fails), and tried to install again There's no way to connect to the servers again! It may be because you launch the executable C and the connection is established. It is found at cwregistration. exe in the Program Files folder. Administrator rights must be granted to this exe (nowhere is this mentioned). In the next step, I tried setting up a NetNanny user and then setting up a regular (non-administrator) user on the same computer. I was able to see another admin user though. After trying to uninstall NetNanny several times, I gave up. Although it did, the whole C was wiped out in the end. I noticed that the ContentWatch directory was still present in /Program Files. As for my registry, I haven't looked at it An installation manual cannot be found, so do not try to find one. A couple of weeks ago, I lost around 50 dollars which I intend to make a claim for. The software I recommend is not good.

There is no need for that This program is a waste of time
3/5

I spent 16 hours on it.

It does not work well with Windows 7. Our Verizon FiOS routers and I have noticed that after we installed Net Nanny our desktops and laptops slowed down so much, that YouTube videos began to Youtube videos stream just fine when Net Nanny is disabled. The video quality of these videos is standard definition. Desktop is not usable because of this. Aside from that, the setup was a bit difficult to do. There is an issue with the activity logs being viewed remotely until much later. I do not know what's happening, so I'm It's just not possible to get support via email. It took a long time for support to respond to emails, and some questions were not answered. There's just something wrong with it.
