You need to be on the lookout for installation

It is necessary to have Microsoft to run Norton Internet Security 2008. It's about the network There is nothing in their documentation about their framework runtime, and it is not automatically done by their installation scripts If the installation fails with an obscure message like 'your computer needs to be rebooted', the installation will fail. Net download site to obtain the latest patches, then go back through 'Microsoft Update' to do so. There were more than 135MB of patches to download after the download. After the failed first attempt at installing, I had to finally find and use their removal tool. Seeing things in retrospect, I am not sure if they needed to do that, but they did. It can also be tricky to locate that tool, but look around. Neither Symantec nor Norton claim to support anything but IE, but it appears that Firefox works fine. I'm glad I checked it out after the horrible installation of Norton Internet Security 2008 it seems to be an improvement.

Your Devil is an old friend of you

It's no secret that Norton computer products are a bit of a devil. The reason you stick with them is that you fear the other side This will result in a worse internet/virus protector. In my opinion, Norton does a fairly acceptable, but not outstanding, job, and I also use some other (free) protection programs The cookie and the anti-cookie Unless you are an expert, there is always a glitch in installing Norton products. You can never learn all the facts on your first try, even if you're computer savvy. In addition, if you had a Norton subscription previously, do not install the new product until the end of the month, since they will not give you even a day's credit for your previous subscription, no matter how far ahead of time they begin nagging you to renew. With that kind of behavior, you would cancel your magazine subscription!.

Security 2008 is the year of Internet security

A new version of this product was purchased to replace an older version that was Works as described, was installed new, and is working as described. Symantec has never failed to solve any of my problems and I have never had to seek their assistance. Though I am not a big fan of Indian call centers, the one operated by Symantec provided satisfactory service to me.

I like Norton Internet Security because it does what it promises to do. This product seems to be quite reliable and I haven't had any problems yet after using it for over a month now. I turned off Norton 360 since I heard too many negative things about it. I am protected when I am on the internet or using my PC.

An antivirus program that works well

With my Toshiba Satellite A60, 768 GHz, I have full protection for Windows XP Professional. The internet connection is slower now than before I installed Norton Internet Security 2007 (NIS07). I am protected from viruses, hackers, pishings, and other threats from the internet while I am connected to the internet, whether I am linked to the internet or not, with the program. There are also memory sticks and wireless internet. Yes, that's good. I don't know what the cost is. A reasonable amount of memory should be able to handle This is the version of NIS 08 that I recommend.

The software consumed too much memory after a while, causing WinXP to slow down. When it worked, I had to switch to another brand, but it works great once it does.
