ZoneAlarm Pro Firewall

While Zone Alarms comes highly recommended by the techies, the average computer user needs to be aware that the technical support site has very limited information and is difficult to understand. If you don't pay a fee, you don't get even one contact with a customer support representative. My personal experience of Zone Alarm's approach was that it denied me access to the internet and protected me in this way from dangers on the internet. In the end, I was able to find a few useful suggestions from another ZA user, and I still have the software installed, but if the software company had been my only resource, I would have had to dump it entirely. Some of the time, I have to restart my computer to allow ZA to give me access to the internet.

When it was turned off, it took at least four times longer to boot up. In less than half an hour after it was installed, I uninstalled it. There is even a difficult uninstall process. After going into msconfig, I had to uncheck it before uninstalling, since it would not uninstall otherwise. I have an excellent system, with a Pentium D 940. I have two GHz, four gigs of RAM, so even though I knew the software was a "memory hog" I expected it to work, but I'm sticking with Norton Antivirus, Spy Sweeper, and Spyware Doctor for protection.

My favorite feature of this firewall is the ease of use. Using it is very easy once it is set up, and it is also very effective. It is highly recommended that you use this product, especially if you use DSL like me. Using this product will keep you protected when you are on the internet, and you will not be tracked and tracked.

In order to do this, it bypasses all of its locks without asking whether it is allowed to do so. Not a bad trick for someone who just bought a program to lock down spyware, is it not? After that, Vista became completely instable as a result of the virus. I crash Explorer when I right-click on the start menu and enter "v. ". According to the ZA site, Adobe Version Cue does not play well with ZA. This product seems to get so much attention that I don't get why. We assume that the product will block "bad programs" from accessing the internet (internet) so that your data will not be lost. You will believe it, but don't bet on While it blocks "unauthorized" programs from connecting to the Internet directly, it DOESN'T prevent "authorized" programs such as "Internet Explorer" from connecting to the Internet outside. A simple script can generate a local form file and post it outside without you even noticing without getting your attention. As soon as you have installed a spyware under your administrator account, access to the internet is always easy. You get a false sense of security from Zonealarm.

Zone Alarm has been installed on both of my new computers, and I've been very happy with the results. I couldn't go online, I couldn't receive emails because another "famous security suite" - which was then blocked- was so intrusive My e-mail program, even though I am an adult, had total child protection turned on and I could not turn it off. The download is simple, the options are clear, and the software learns your preferences after a few questions. A copy of this software is being purchased for a friend who is quite new to computers and I want to keep her safe and happy with her experience while using the computer. If you know your computer is infected, you will be notified and have the option to keep it or not. It is the only product I will ever use.
