In order for the computer to evaluate you, do you have to connect a microphone? Would you mind telling me what type of mic you have?

It would be fine to use any handheld mic that fits your computer's input if you have a headset with microphone. This is not something I've tried with the built-in microphone on my laptop. My guess is it would work, but I am not sure if the quality would be the same as a plug-in.

The book is aimed at helping you become a better singer, and I've purchased it for that reason. By doing this I have come to appreciate how important simple things like breathing and posture can be. Throughout my career, I have always been weak and the lessons and exercises I'm taking are helping me improve in that area. Various ear training exercises have helped me be able to sing on key/on pitch a lot better as well. After watching the video, what sold me was that the program actually listened to what I was singing and was able to detect when I acted foolishly. The software works great! I had doubts at first, but it's awesome! It's a pity for the person who was unable to set up With no problems, I logged on to both my Mac (laptop) and the PC in the family room. Hey, it's just a matter of personal preference. There are quite a few old songs on the playlist - They are varied, so I can practice a few different styles, and there are some backing tracks as well. As I am practicing singing, I also got some karaoke software to add newer tunes to my practice. In my latest update on 11/27, I just wanted to add that now that I'm getting more into breathing exercises, I can sustain notes a little longer and it kinds of feels like a yoga session (which is good for my health overall). A little side note, it was recommended to me by my dad (he did a review too), so thank you dad.

As of right now, we have not come across a warm-up that we like

My granddaughter, who is 7 years old, uses the voice but it is still too young for her. It will come some day, but we haven't found a warm up we're thrilled with yet, we're hoping she will have a grown up voice by then.

The game does not play and there is a red X on the screen

There's nothing to be said about eMedia's tech support. I am stuck using a useless product. It does not work correctly on the laptop my daughter uses. The audio files will not play because there is a large red X in the upper left corner. There is a claim that this is a Quicktime issue or a corrupted install file. I have downloaded it over and over, and I have It must have been a dozen times, at least, that I installed, uninstalled, restarted, etc. All the while, I tried many things. During that time, I was waiting multiple days to hear back from their tech support to ensure I was doing this or disabling that during the installation. As a result, I'm stuck with software that doesn't work since I have passed the return deadline with Amazon.
