Having run My Violin on Windows 8 x64 and Windows 8, I can recommend it. A 64-bit version is installed. Then install My Violin and go to the website. Click on the My Violin icon on your desktop, then click on the properties link. Afterwards, go to www. quicktime . com and download the latest version of Quicktime. Choose the compatibility tab and check the box that says "Run this program as an administrator". Click apply and then OK. The video playback process should now begin and you should be able to view the video. You can open the file location by right-clicking the icon at the top of the start menu if no icon is present on your desktop. When you right click on My Violin's icon, you need to click properties, then compatibility, then tick the box that says "Run this program as an administrator", and click apply and OK. This is my first purchase of e-book It is a software program offered by Media. My family has benefited greatly from the learning of piano by four members from their earliest years. My family and I have purchased violins and the software for at least three of us to try to play the violin. It is true that she is a little quirky It has been figured out how to use the finger tracker so that correct notes are played. There was no reason why it couldn't be intuitive, I just expected it to function like Piano Method, which highlights the notes as they are A finger tracker allowed me to make fret markers for everything (4/4, 1/2, and 1/8th sizes) on the violins. It was a huge relief to hear that. There is no other way I could see our family learning violin other than through this program- I find it especially rewarding for myself to challenge myself in the presence of 3 children. In any case, it would be impossible for me to afford instrument lessons without the software. It is a bit old, but I can't complain about the price. They will probably have more of my business in the future. * (Have Piano Method already * I have also been very satisfied with that! My children are confident in their ability to correctly hold and tune their instruments. Our team of instructors is now going to start introducing real songs to the class. It is a very exciting time.
In my attempt to teach myself violin, I decided to try my hand at it. In many online discussions I have read, the violin had been described as being very difficult and almost impossible to learn from scratch. All of those posts are absolutely false thanks to this software. Having the ability to watch a video showing how to play such a lesson is great, since you are able to see exactly what fingers to place and what stings to use for each lesson. It is exciting to see how far I have come through the lessons. It would be a great benefit to anyone wanting to learn the violin to use this software. Despite the age being posted on the box, do not believe what the box says. It teaches me progressive skills in a way that meets my schedule as a 25 year old. My suggestion is to try the bow right devise, which I have found very useful in keeping my bow on course and in the right place. I am not able to get an instructor to help me with my posture, so I need all the guidance I can get to stay in I have just a few thoughts to share.
The copy of "My Violin" I just got in the mail is now in my hands. In about 3 minutes, I got bored with the program I LOVED it, even though it was only 4 hours long! Here it is. It took me about a year to begin to learn the violin, and I'm 31 now. Having never read music or played music before, I chose this program because I am so new to both. The instrument was intended for children 6 and up, and my only thought was, "Man if a 6 year old can learn to play the violin from this, then perhaps I will be able to as well. ". This program is remarkably simple to follow, easy to comprehend, incorporates visual and audio components at every step, and teaches the reader of music and drummer how to read and play rhythm in a straightforward manner. ". While its content is a bit childish, it was designed for children, so it is not surprising. The instructor seems very passionate about teaching and is very easy to understand. My recommendation, as an adult who is also a beginner, is to recommend this program not only for kids, but for anyone else who may be experiencing difficulty It was a brilliant idea to use games to help students remember lessons and to use video help to assist with learning. I give this program a full set of 5 stars.
It was a gift I gave my daughter for her sixth birthday. We just started learning. I am totally amazed at how she has mastered it! The sound and tone of it makes me want to purchase myself a violin and Students will learn how to take care of their instruments as well as how to maintain them. The book does not have you start playing twinkle, twinkle or Mary had a little lamb, but it does lead you through learning how to hold your violin, how to play your bow, and improving your skills as you go. A beautiful start to teaching music for enjoyment is the way we want to go, and I believe this is a perfect way to do it.
As I mentioned earlier, I am impressed with the program since she doesn't really require adult guidance Is this program going to teach you how to become an accomplished violinist? No, but the lessons are easy to follow, have engaging games for reinforcement, and teach the basics very well. Rather than investing in a costly private lesson, I wanted to try this first. It seems to me that it was the right recommend this book not only for children, but for anyone who wants to learn how to play the A similar violin that I purchased was "my violin" and I was equally delighted with it.
I went online to look for lessons, and I found them all. The bottom line Every instructor was in high demand, and lessons were expensive, about $30 for half an As I was looking at this software, I figured it was about the price of a lesson and I could use it on my own time. However, my concerns were 1) children are the focus, and 2) I am not sure if it is It arrived today and I'm happy to report that all my fears were put to rest. I just gave up after two hours because it was getting dark outside! Thankfully it works with Windows 8, so there's no problem there, and the lessons are simple but very Even after two hours, I feel so much more confident, and my voice has improved a lot. There are several great features of this program, including a tuner and a display that shows you whether you're playing the right string (remember to use this feature you will need a microphone on your computer). There are tips on how to hold and read a bow as well as what the different parts of a violin are called in the e-book.
The two hours I just spent with this program would have cost me between $90 and $120 with any other My budget was cut in half and I have a ton of fun doing it. Motivating me just the way I need it!.
