Questions & Answers

Do you think this will work with Windows ?

installed version #5 on my Windows 7 computer and it works fine. It states on the bottom of the original box that it will work with Windows 7 if you still have the original box.

Could you please let me know if this product is also available in Spanish?

This does not appear to be the case.

How long will it take for the software to complete the left-handed player's learning process? What does the chord diagram, fret board, and illustrated views look like when viewed in left-handed ?

You're right. It was checked out by me. It shows right handed chords at the top of the screen. The chord dictionary does the same. Although it can be displayed at any time and it shows a left handed view of each chord from that position, it displays the fretboard at any time. To get started on it, you'd have to compare it to the left-handed fretboard, so it would take you a bit more messing around than I did, but you can obviously do it. It is my hope that this

I've been very pleased with the package so far
5/5

Music is something I enjoy however, guitar or a similar stringed instrument is not one of them. It took me less than half an hour to tune my new guitar, learn some chords, and play a few songs, all with the assistance of this software. My computer is a Windows 7 machine, and I did not experience any problems. It seems to be a very clear instruction from what I have read in the first two chapters. Some have complained about the instructor's song selection and his singing being unappealing. The selection is a reasonably mixed one with a few generic songs. The key to success is to continue the lessons and to practice. It's not as if the instructor's singing is inspiring - he's just in tune, if not great. I am not interested in guitar solely because he sings inspirationally. I'm interested in the lessons in chords and strumming, as well as the exercises, and this program appears to be good at this. In addition to master 6, I have master 7). In spite of the fact that musical lessons are fast and simple, for those without the time or inclination to learn from a human teacher, these will take them a reasonable way toward These are very interactive lessons which I appreciate Each time you complete an exercise, you and your computer's microphone pick up your voice, and the software grades and comments on your progress as you do it The teacher may be able to describe things more precisely than you could. As such, it is not an all or nothing lesson.

I think this is awesome
5/5

The guitar I bought for my son is primarily to be used with me as I have never played guitar before as well. Although I have no experience with guitar, I thought it would be a good start for my son. It was slightly advanced for him, so I chose a less extensive package for him. However, I found that I was following the lesson plans through into the late hours of each night, and I love them. It has been awesome working with the direction, and I've already learned a lot of songs. There isn't much in the way of kid's songs, like Mary Had a Little Lamb, but more in the way of Bob Dylan and Rod Stewart. Quite a useful product if you only have a few minutes a day to practice at your own pace rather than an instructor who you need to schedule At the moment, I'm working on a song called My odds of getting it are not as high as Knockin on Heaven's door, but I will succeed.

It's a great piece of software
5/5

As if you had never held a guitar before, this software begins by presenting you with a challenge. First, you learn the easiest single finger chords, then you learn the basics of strumming, then you learn double strumming, and then you learn emphasis strumming followed by learning additional chords as you progress. As part of each lesson, you will play a real You are continuously quizzed so as to become proficient at memorizing the chords. Each lesson builds upon the last. My experience with this has been valuable. The software sounds amazing to me as I am just through the first few lessons, and coming from someone who can play the guitar but has never been trained and has never learned notes, this is awesome to use. I have actually learned how to read and understand tabulature. I have actually figured out what chords are and have made significant The news is pretty exciting for me. It has helped me so much to play by ear instead of by memory. In addition to the chords you learn in the first few lessons, one portion of the training will list a bunch of songs you will want to be able to play as well. The search results link to a google search, which takes you to a tab page. Pearl Jam song is one of the songs I've learned to play A great time was had by all!.

Guitar Method v5 by eMedia is the best method for learning guitar
4/5

The overall impression I have of this is positive. Yes, the music is a little campy, and I can't bear to listen to the instructors sing. However, I prefer to look at life from the perspective that the glass is half full. In this case, if my family complains that my singing is offensive, I simply turn up the volume and let them enjoy the instructor's If you succeed in that, your family will never complain about your singing again, and your road to enjoying entertainment
Please do not compare this game with RockSmith because you may find the gameplay to be a bit hand, if you are looking for a program that helps explain the concept of music in addition to repeating Chords, Tabs, and notes in a musical piece, this is the program to try, since RockSmith does not provide that function. Below is a breakdown of the costs A rating of (9) stars is warranted for this instructional material. ********Music = - The following are the top five reasons Thus, I recommend this program enthusiastically. (

) So yes, this program is worth recommending.

You might not believe this, but I'm a street musician now
4/5

The program was a gift to my daughter, and I soon found myself using it myself and was pleasantly surprised at how well it reacts to you and can tell you what After watching "mary had a little lamb" and playing "Freebird" in a short while, I started playing "freebird". Using my skills, I have grown out my hair, put on a few awesome tie dye t-shirts, and rock some cool sandals. Just down the street from the Capital, you'll find me playing on State Street.
