Please be aware! There are some very old programs in this set. In the Mac OS X version, POWER PC programs are used instead of Mac OS X. Applications designed for Power PC cannot run on Internet Explorer 6 or later. As well, I have tried installing this on a Windows 10 computer, but it did not work. The time has come for me to recover my money. Note that neither of these details appear on the Amazon web site or product description nor on the actual product itself. (macOS x 10. 13. Version 3 or higher, Windows XP or greater).
The software I am trying to install would not install on my Windows 10 PC.
I love the product. It has a great price as well.
It did not work and it could not access files.
I was able to use it for a while. It was a present I bought for my son who wants to be an astronaut when he grows up. The system is easy to use and set up. We purchased the program, but it didn't work after a short period of time. This issue might be caused by the fact that my operating system is Vista, but we don't use it However, it was a lot of fun while it was working.
Very informative, good software, generally easy to use, but navigating deeper into the program is not so easy and takes a little getting used to. As far as I can tell, the instructions are not as clear.
I've always thought you were the best 'Stargazer' I ever had It's easy to use, it's fun to play I have yet to find a flaw in my use of this product after three continuous months. The ten dollar version of "Galaxy Explorer" is all I am buying at the moment. By saving my money, I can buy the bigger versions, too. I gave a copy to my grandson as part of a project to get him interested in astronomy.
Whether you are new to stargazing or an experienced practitioner, this software is perfect for you. With this interactive tool, you can select a location and year, allowing you to move back or forward in time. It shows stars with and without drawings, enabling you to see what they looked like in the sky at specific times.
