There were repeated error messages associated with Adobe Air, which made the installer not install, and the program did not work. The interface can be tweaked in order to make it work, but since I am not a computer science major, I won't pursue that avenue.

There should be no more mention of this item on Operating systems older than OS X no longer support it. The item will be delivered to you after you have purchased it. Our computer did not accept the item when we attempted installing it. A large amount of work led us to contact The item you are trying to access is out of date and no longer supported. Operating systems on which it is not supported cannot be loaded.

My excitement at seeing this product, and its pricetag, was such that my wife did not even try to argue with me when I told her I must have it. Although I am glad I own it now, it has been disappointing. Once I received it, well, I am still happy that I own it. I prefer to write this in bullet form rather than rambling, so let's get into disappointments first 1. December 31 was the last day of the month. It was years ago that I purchased National Geographic and was not able to install it because of a bug in the installer. A second version of the software was sent to me on August 4, 2021. It presented the same issue. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to download the installer program. It can no longer be purchased from National Geographic since it is no longer supported.

I think this version of Complete Nation Geographic is much better than the original. I think that the most important thing is the readability of the scanned pages, and this set doesn't Original images had much to be desired, but these newly scanned ones are surprisingly sharp and clear. The fact that you could zoom in and keep the text or photo sharp was a plus. The scan has a high level of quality. There were a total of 30 CDs in the earlier set, and you had to swap them out continuously. Despite being condensed to six DVDs, this updated version retains all of the original content. If you prefer, you can copy the DVDs to your hard drive. Unfortunately, this version is too fancy when it comes to the interface, and as a result, it ends up interfering with the use of the program. There is no intuitive search function, and you spend a great deal of time trying to figure it out. looked for a map that I know NG published, "Ghost Fleet of the Outer Banks. " Fortunately, I could not find it. The framed copy I saw at my last job is similar to what she showed you. I cannot find Fleet or Ghost using the DVD set's search feature. It says it doesn't exist regardless of whether I just search for the titles. It's nice that this version includes all of the historical maps, but the interface is very confusing for some reason.
