I used the Windows version of Family Tree Maker 2012 to create my tree. I purchased Family Tree Heritage for Mac, but I'm having trouble exporting the information. ?

Could you please provide some additional details? Are you attempting to transfer data from Family Tree Maker to Family Tree Heritage? If that's the case, there's a Windows version and a Mac version. Is there a chance they're incompatible? Or are you using Family Tree Heritage to export your data?

If your data can be exported to a Gedcom 5, that's great. 5 file, Family Tree Heritage Mac is able to recognize it and import the data from it.

Is this compatible with the latest version of Mac OS X, Sierra?

Version 15 is the most recent release of this product. It is currently being updated to work with the High Sierra operating system. Individual Software should be contacted to ensure that it is available.

This is an excellent genealogy resource. I was able to transfer all of my data from a Windows program that was no longer supported. I couldn't do it myself, so their tech department took my information and converted it into a file that I could open on my Mac. I was able to save nearly a decade of work!.

Loading and using it is a breeze

When you use the installer and move to the applications folder, the software installs without a hitch. My MacBook Pro has no trouble loading it. The user interface is very simple to use, and the process of creating and updating your own family tree is very straightforward.

The views and layout did not appeal to me

The transition from a PC to a Mac went smoothly. The views and layout did not appeal to me. In one simple step, my old software could show the entire family or the entire family tree. It was a great deal easier to use.

I was unable to get Family Tree Heritage to function properly

Got the . I was unable to get Family Tree Heritage to function properly. I received the message that follows. "INITIALIZATION FAILURE" is a phrase used to describe the failure of an initialization procedure. A critical component can't be used by Crossover. The cxutils module could not be imported into Python. Errors can be found in the console.
