Educational AND fun at the same time! I am an elementary school computer teacher who can attest that Treasure Cove is one of the most popular "free time" activities at my school for grades 2 through 4. Depending on whether sound or question reading are turned on, however, this game is suitable for kids as young as kindergarten. Despite purchasing both games for my 8 year old daughter for the summer, I also got caught up in playing them myself! In order to win, the games must be quite lengthy. However, the games are engaging enough to keep kids engaged for quite some time. The game is free to play for as long as kids want after they win. In terms of ease of play as well as the questions, Treasure Cove definitely wins the argument Overall, the games are quite educational and fun, especially when bundled in such an affordable package!.
Although I may not have read the description correctly, I saw a jewel case in the listing, so I assumed one would come with it. Even though my grandson hasn't used the product, I was disappointed in it as soon as I received it.
Basically, it works great but we have to run the emulator in safe mode and compatibility mode as it keeps reporting that it can't find a sound card. Otherwise, it works fantastic and the game is just as great as I remember! I'd like to buy Mathstorm and Galaxy to find out what they are, since as a kid I never got to play them. I'm so glad it worked! Also, for anyone reading this and finding that the game does not work in compatibility mode, you only have to The team is working on it! There are many of these games that can be played via compatibility mode or DosBox, which can easily be downloaded.
During my childhood, I played a lot of The Learning Company games, and I am currently collecting them in order to recreate the educational computer that I had when I was younger. My interest and learning was sparked and if there are any older ones brought into the new era, that might be a good choice. The problem is that I haven't yet come across them. From what I can tell, the product from the seller is in excellent condition.
Play the game all the time. perfectly fine on my mom's computer, but only when it is connected. Neither my computer nor my laptop have the power to run them. The reason is something I am not really able to tell you.
It worked for Treasure Cove on my computer, but not for Treasure Island because there was an issue with the way the information was downloaded onto the I was told by Amazon I couldn't return or exchange my order.
It's hard for me to figure out Then, it seemed so lame to me. Regardless, I'm glad I got it, even though it might have been better as a memory. I am giving this product five stars since it performed as expected and I was REALLY eager to use.
This is one of my favorite games because I remember my nephew playing it when he was a young boy. The games don't really work on our computer, so I haven't really been able to figure out how to get them to work.
