This is a fun game that can be played on older computers
4/5

I have a computer with Windows XP that I want to use without being connected to the internet. This game works well (as long as the disk is in the machine. ) I bought it for my 5-year-old and possibly my 7-year-old, but my 10-year-old also enjoys playing with it.

Gardening is something that children enjoy doing
5/5

This has been a hit with all of my kids, and they've had a lot of fun earning all of the garden rewards. br>Planting seeds and watching them grow (extremely quickly when watered) is a popular activity, but once you have a full set of three plants, they are likely to be eaten, necessitating the planting of more. br>One child was disappointed that Eyore did not appear after she had received all of the rewards to tell her how much he enjoyed the garden, which was an oversight on the designers' part because pooh does suggest that you make Eyore's garden pretty for him. br>The games cater to a wide range of children's interests, with bug sorting (by color) being their favorite, followed by eyores calendar (they loved following the bug or frog depending on the level), which teaches number recognition up to 30, and tiggers contraptions (you must follow the blueprint and match an outline drawing to the actual item in the correct order to make an interesting contraption and you never seem to see the same one twice), which teaches number recognition up to 30 Pooh's pantry counts up to 30, and the jars contain various vegetables and fruits each time you play. The wishing well works in sets, and the first two levels work well with 1-set sets. 5 and 6- 10 but I was perplexed by the third because it was difficult to tell how many were in the sets of 10 to 15 because they used different items of varying sizes. There are also plenty of click points to keep kids entertained, and your rewards either do something when clicked on or are plants/seeds to grow in the garden. br>Lastly, there is a raindance quilt with rabbit; the only level the kids enjoyed was the third, where they made the pattern and repeated it down the quilt. br>There are also plenty of click points to keep kids entertained; your rewards either do something when clicked on or are plants/seeds to grow in the garden. You'll find a note to read on the fence every time you come back to the garden, and some of your plants may be eaten. br>In general, you can't go wrong with this game for your younger children (ages 2-10). This game would be most beneficial to player number five.

Creates a pre- Math fun! My son, who is now three years old, has been using this software since he was 18 months old
5/5

I used to take him through it with me, and he loved the beautiful garden and the characters from Winnie the Pooh. There are also a number of locations where you can simply click and make things happen - He can now do most of the games himself with a little help, such as a skunk stealing rabbit's flowers, a squirrel playing drums on the roof, and so on. You begin in the garden and can travel north, east, or west from there. You have the option of visiting someone's home in each location. There are Tigger's, Rabbit's, Pooh's, and other characters, each with a different math-related game. The majority of the games are excellent - Piglet's house, in which you decorate two trays of cupcakes and then add how many total you have, and Tigger's house, in which you drop various items into his machine (in the order on the blueprint) and a contraption pops out at the end, are two of our favorites. When you complete five rounds of a game, you will receive a prize for your garden, such as tomatoes to plant, a windmill, or a waterfall, and so on. Eventually, the garden will become quite elaborate. The money spent on this software was well spent.

For young children, this is an excellent math program
4/5

My 3- This was a Christmas present for my 1/2-year-old son, and he loves it (he spent the entire Christmas afternoon on the computer!). br>There are six different activities to choose from - Everything has to do with math. The numbers go from one to thirty (which is more than he's used to in other math software for his age). The activities pique a young child's interest (for example, adding and subtracting cupcakes before allowing the child to decorate the cakes). Counting, adding, subtracting, more/less, pattern recognition, number grouping, and number formation are some of the skills that can be learned. br>The best part of the software, in my opinion, is that the rewards enable him to grow a beautiful garden full of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The motivational factors are obvious, as are the objectives.
Pros: Winnie the Pooh's favorite characters, fun and entertainment, skill development, clear goals and rewards Cons: Winnie the Pooh and his pals The pattern recognition activity isn't quite up to par. The game is tedious and repetitive, and it is far too easy at all levels for even a 3-year-old. a year and a half old In addition, you must complete all three levels in order to complete the garden (which is a little excessive). My son, on the other hand, persevered and finished the game in three days, only to restart it!.
