Microsoft Project Professional 2010 [Old Version]

This has been the most frustrating piece of software I've ever had the pleasure of purchasing for a large sum of money. As a result, I have encountered bug after bug. My Gantt chart will disappear suddenly and it seems I do not have any It seems that the data is back in the program when I restart. My Gantt chart has frozen and lost all of my unsaved work. Resources entered into the project as materials will display as work in the Gantt chart. This does not appear to be a feature of the software, so I cannot create a simple materials list required for a project. In my experience, when the software does work properly it does an adequate job for software development and network integration, which makes up the majority of the tasks I use it If you start planning a construction project with it and incorporate materials management into it, the process requires much more effort. Microsoft products are my favorite, and I own pretty much every piece of software on their website, but it seems like they have fallen asleep at the wheel when it comes to MS Project. For reference, I'm running 64-bit Windows.

I believe I could easily work from home (home based business) supporting various construction companies as soon as I master this program. Besides the training on how to use the software, I feel that most of the tools are included within this software. It will take some time to master the software since there are other resources on the web and the product must be used.
