Questions & Answers

If I buy just Access 2013, will it run on a Dell Venue 8 Pro, which has Office Home & Student installed? Is everything ok?

That should be the case. Windows 8 is the current version of ACCESS that I use. The operating system and the T1 don't have any problems together.

Where can I download the key card download instead of the regular ?

must go to a different site to download the file. com. With the key card, you can enter the office. Based on reviews, key card down loading appears to be a little less problematic. While I was able to download at office.com, I am not familiar with the PC download since I have not tried it yet.

What are the compatibility issues between 2007 and 2013 apps?

The non-profit sector A technical answer from someone with no technical expertise Guy who does technical stuff 2010 and 2013 seem to work just fine for apps written in 2003 and 2007. Despite being written in 2010, 2013, apps written in 2007 and 2003 are still editable. The new features are free, but only IF they don't use them. In some cases they may not be backward compatible because new features are used. The past few months have been smooth going, but perhaps you should not attribute that to

The 32-bit version of the program cannot be installed There is some 64 bit Office installed, so 64 bit Access will be installed as well. It won't install on a 64-bit system A number of 32-bit applications are not compatible with 32-bit access There is a version of Office installed on this computer. Is that so?

To date, I have not been able to find a solution to this Access has another quirk that can be annoying.

As a result of being dragged, kicking and screaming, I upgraded
4/5

Our budget was spent pretty heavily on new (refurbished, in reality) machines that had Windows 7 and Office 2010 (except for Access), which were the end of XP. I had several homemade databases in Access, so I had to get a fresh copy of I was able to download this from Amazon without any issues. The Amazon web site was one I trust, and was not going to download anything from some dubious web site and then discover it was worthless. During the install, everything was fine. Except for one small exception, I was able to save my old settings. The MDB files should be put into the new folder. The format of the accdb is dbf. There has been a lot of code behind the scenes that has been upgraded to a new version. In order to use my wife's machine, I downloaded MS run time and installed this on hers. She doesn't need to make any changes to her machine Since I already have one, I saved some money on the purchase. The new 365 concept of renting or leasing software ad infinitum sounds better to me than this option. As long as PhotoShop is now an annual fee, I will not purchase it again. I will feel the pain one time only with this version. In that case, it certainly is useful.

Access is available as an Amazon download
5/5

It is recommended that you have a Hotmail email address in order to enjoy an easy time downloading Access 2013 The first thing you need is your email address. Check to see if all your drivers and frameworks are current on your Windows operating system. There are several items on the net. This product, Access 2013, is available for download. On a slow internet connection, it will take about 45 minutes With the "cloud" services and your new Hotmail email address, you'll have the best of both worlds A link to your email address will appear on your Home Page in the upper right corner. The computer on which I am working is 64 bit. I was never asked whether my computer runs on a 32 or 64 bit Windows 7/64 bit is installed on my computer. The newest edition of the book is criticized more than previous editions, but I do not own previous editions of the book. Therefore, I will not have to redo what I already did There is always something to learn. Even though it may have some defects, I felt that it would cause me the fewest problems with the new 64 bit environment if I had the most recent edition. If I am not mistaken, the only use that I need a database for is simple data entry. As far as I'm concerned, it can achieve that goal. Oracle is an obvious choice for me if I were using it at the higher end. Nevertheless, none of them are. I thought I would report that my download was seamless and perfect, considering that there have been so many criticisms of our downloading process.

I am using an 8-inch Dell Venue Pro
5/5

I find Access 2013 works very well! Despite the fact that I already had Microsoft Office Home and Student (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and One Note) on my Dell Venue Pro 8 tablet, I still needed I bought the standalone Access for less than $90 and started the process within seconds of giving Amazon my credit card information. As I proceeded through the installation, I noticed that I was having trouble with my internet connection, and I began to dread what a number of reviewers had predicted would happen - I would end up in a In spite of this, the installation process continued and was completed after about 10 minutes. Upon rebooting the Dell Venue Pro 8, everything started working properly
The Intel Atom 1 processor is on board the Dell Venue Pro 8. A 3 GHz quad core processor is paired with 2GB of RAM and a 64GB SSD that runs Windows 8. One of its best qualities is its adeptness at handling Microsoft Office Suite. It's not the fastest kid on the block, but it's not a slug It is fast enough to refresh the screens quickly, and it does not need to be connected to the Internet to function. One minor inconvenience is that this application prompts you to send your files to your SkyDrive account, but it is easy to ignore. I tested the Access version on a computer, and it behaved like the CD version, loading and working just as expected. I am now wondering if I should have gone with the Full Suite, which allows you to receive all upgrades during your lease period, for $99 per year. At the moment, I am pleased with the purchase and the installation was relatively easy.

It is empowering
5/5

Writing MS Access applications has been a hobby of mine since 1994 or 1995. In the case of people who aren't full-time programmers, but are dangerous enough to have access to data and technical expertise, MS Access stands head and shoulders above the competition. To be clear, the beauty of MS Access is that you can get out of the way of the technology if you're fairly tech savvy. Ultimately, let's sum up. An app can be built in under a week and I can have it up and running with reporting within that time. For the first time in a decade, I was unable to find an IT company that could do that for me. MS Access was one of the scariest pieces of software for IT departments in the past, as there were concerns about control over and support of the applications that "under the radar" or "shadow IT" individuals were using to run their businesses. As long as the user makes a conscious decision to conquer it, it will be liberating. Does it meet all our expectations? The fact that MS hasn't put MS Access on the mobile platform has actually been a bit disappointing over the past several years. Wait, there's more! Microsoft Access must be installed on Windows 8 for this to work. One mini tablet that can be brought by users. Furthermore, you have an app for mobile phones. I wonder. It is amazing how much potential there is!.

I really like it, but it's not like Access 2003
3/5

Windows XP and Office 2003 were ruined by people who worked for MS. I hope Microsoft fires the children responsible for the mess. It's perhaps the most ignorant move I've ever witnessed to do away with the locations and menus that have been familiar to customers for two decades. The book "Set Phasers on Stun" should be a must-read for any marketer, programmer, salesman, etc. A new version of existing products is developed by someone who started the project. It is only a matter of time before Microsoft comes to its collective senses and makes Windows 9 usable again, like Windows XP was. It does not make sense to program or use large spread sheets on touch screens or tablets, wake up, Microsoft!.

Here are all the details you need to know about databases
5/5

First, I learned how to use databases using DBase 2, running on the Then I used the original Access and have not used it in a while. Recently, I had to create a somewhat large possibly relational database and realized just how much the original has changed so I decided to try to remember the basics and learn how much has changed over time. In my opinion, this volume was split into nine books, written in such a way that it taught the novice and answered very specific questions for those who were already familiar with database construction but had specific questions about it. To put it simply, I believe that this is an excellent volume, both for those who are learning and for those who need help.
