Although I used Paperport 9 Deluxe for many years, I occasionally ran into problems such as losing the scanner or some kind of loop that continually kept the program busy or slowed it down however, I made it work and was able to use Even though it occasionally rebooted or ran in busy loops, it was acceptable due to how it did many different things. As soon as I upgraded my operating system to Windows 8, I received the following message Since Paperport Professional 14 was not available for download, I had to find something else and upgrade. An item that has been on the market for so long is simply unacceptable under this program. In addition to being buggy and inefficient, it is poorly designed and crashes whenever it is used. It takes a lot of luck to figure out what you need from the tiny icons. It has happened three times within the last six months that I have had it on my computer that the program has started then crashed immediately. There would simply be no point in keeping it Once and twice I was able to recover it by restoring to a restore point that was before the problem. The first time, this did not work, and I had to completely remove the program from the computer and clean the registry with CCleaner before reinstalling it. As soon as I did this, I lost all my shortcuts. The program did resume working, but there were again delays. PP14 allows you to stack items rather than quickly stacking them in PP9.
