It has been a long time coming When comparing NAPA to other automotive repair shop programs ($175 for one time) the onetime price is a joke. A monthly payment of more than $1000. I like how user friendly it is and how supportive the support is. There's no need to search for it. It's at your fingertips. The user interface is 100% usable! They are a class act! I had to leave a review on Google to unlock a feature for VIP, which is a pain. As soon as I saw the product, I was pleased. However, I was unable to use it to the full extent of its capabilities. This software does not have a basic import option using CSV from other programs. An RO cannot be reopened once it has been closed. The Autozone ordering was linked to our Autozone account which initially seemed cool, but all of our orders had to go through the program, which prevented us from ordering basic supplies such as oil dry, gloves, or even brake grease without adding it to our repairs. What a terrible idea. There had only been 15 or so repair orders written, and I was reviewing something and I was trying to look up the price of a part we paid, and it was missing from the repair order. I’ve tried to find it with no luck – no matter what I searched for – the system lost it. My invoice for this purchase can be found here. The product failed in a way that is insane and unacceptable. Of the two weeks we tested the product, there were three separate occasions when the server was down, which prevented it from working on Saturday. This has been our busiest day so far. Keeping in mind that this was a completely different product from what I needed on the surface, I can say I never did get the thing installed, and just for fun I'll share the text I had with the so-called solution. As for calling the tech support person, I am keeping that to myself until I find the right person. Make sure you read all the fine print before you buy! You can't simply plug and play this download, it is not at all user-friendly and if you miss a step or your computer skips a step the entire download is null and void. The new computer skipped a step because some of the prompts didn't show up, so I was able to install this after hours to avoid having to deal with it during working hours. I texted the old tech line just as the instructions said to do if you had any problems. Since I live on the west coast and they live in Michigan (did not know that), and I did not know their tech was 9 to 5, but the guy answered my text rudely! It all went wrong at that point. Until next time, please accept my sincere apologies. The thing is, if you're going to answer your tech line then you have to be ready to help if not turn your phone off. This is a 5 thumbs down rating.
