It wasn't perfect, but it wasn't terrible either
4/5

It can handle almost all of the common MS office products, as well as images and PDF files. In addition, you can see your email attachments directly in your main inbox and drill down to open them. br>Here are a few disadvantages: If the PDF contains images, you will be unable to view them within the document. br>If you have a memory expansion card, it will not automatically sync to the memory card; instead, it will go to the main memory and you will have to manually change the settings to store them on your memory card.

Using my Palm PDA to create documents and print them
5/5

Docs To Go version 5 is the only one I use for word processing. Getting to 0 is a huge step forward. On the PDA, you can now choose from a variety of typefaces. and the selected typeface is used to display the text - This contributes significantly to the readability of the text. More formatting options (such as bullet points and paragraph indenting) are available as well. Color can also be used as a background or in type. As a result, document creation (as opposed to just document modification) has become a true Palm capability. br>Both my Palm m515 and Sony Clie are happy with the new software. Documents look even better on the Clie, which has a higher-resolution color screen. br>The only criticism I have is that the command to "go to the beginning (or end) of the document" was removed to make room for the formatting options. On my Clie, which has a scroll wheel for quickly moving up and down the page, I don't miss it nearly as much. br>As an extra, I like to use BtPrint (available at iscomplete. com) to print from my Palm. net), which will use Docs To Go 5 as a source of information. BtPrint will transmit via Bluetooth or infrared (IR) from my Palm, and infrared (IR) from my Clie, as well as from my Palm's calendar, address book, memo, and to-do list. I send wirelessly to any of the Bluetooth or infrared printers I have in my home or office (specifically, HP's excellent and dependable 990, 995, 1315, and 450 models). br>In the role of a watch-maker, BtPrint isn't compatible with the Palm 5. 0 operating system, so printing from the Tungsten T or Sony's newest models is currently unavailable. br>I'm content with my life in general. When I'm at home or on the road, I can now create professional-looking documents on my Palm. without having to bring my cumbersome laptop computer. When I use the new Palm ultra-thin, I'm able to get more done in less time. slim keyboard has a sleek, high-quality design. a modern look - Everyone I meet is envious of me. br>I also recently discovered that Avery (labels) has made Palm PDA label printing software (at Avery. com) available as a free download. com) - which, like BtPrint, will send data to the above-mentioned printers via Bluetooth or IR. It's something I've done before - It's also very functional. Finally, why create a document on a laptop? When it's so much more convenient to use a Palm PDA? 5. Docs on the Run 0 is unquestionably the best option!.

I Have Never Used a Better Excel Word Viewer For Palm! This is, without a doubt, the best Palm Excel/Word viewer I've ever used! I consider myself an intermediate/advanced PC user, with over 35 computers under my control
5/5

Take it from a stressed-out Facility Manager: I don't have time or energy to waste on useless software. DTG was not uploading data to the reviewer's PC, according to him. Please note that I only use this program to view the file on the Palm, and I do not make any changes to it. Without consulting the instruction manual, I had navigation and all functions I needed mastered in two minutes after installing the program and loading my 15-sheet Excel program! > > The bashing of TinySheet for Excel, a separate program, starts here. > TinySheet has been causing me SUFFERING for over a year. The Sync was never able to keep up with the rest of the program. I had to manually add the Excel document to the upload manager, which crashed the computer after sync, and then reboot the computer to see if it would work. To force the file to upload, I had to delete it from upload manager, sync without it, and then manually add it back in. Bad TinySheet Documents to Go 5! > > The Excel bashing begins with a mobile database. > Since my workload is about to double, I WAS looking for something more dependable and less frustrating before I discovered DTG. Mobile DB for Excel is a program that I installed. It appeared to work, but it only supports ONE sheet within Excel (I use 15), and each file must be manually saved as a CSV (comma separated) file, which rendered this program useless for my purposes. I blew $30 on a useless purchase. On that one, I'm going to go with a zero. Mobile DB for Excel is bad, but Documents to Go 5 is great! God Bless Our Troops, according to Psalm 64!.

It continues to improve
5/5

I started using Docs To Go on a IIIxe three years ago, and I'm now running version 5 on a Clie SJ-100. I'm a professor at a university, and I always have my Clie on me. I can take all of my course and research materials with me thanks to Docs To Go. I keep it with me most of the time to keep it handy in case I need to double-check something, but I also use it to enter data into documents, particularly Word and Excel files, on a daily basis. I also appreciate the ability to bring Powerpoint and PDF files with me. I tried QuickOffice, but Docs To Go is the clear winner on K for me and my needs.

One of the best Palm applications ever created
5/5

Prior to learning about this product, my desire was to purchase a portable computer; the only stumbling block was the price and size, as I needed it to carry a few important class notes and have access to my e-mail. In addition to email, there is a calendar and a phone directory. The only thing I needed was a text processor and a program that could handle my images (Power Point). I downloaded the trial version from the internet and it was the best thing I could do to keep all of my notes in order, while also being able to create presentations while at university and check my email. At the same time, I could modify any document and work on it simultaneously on the computer and on the Palm. I believe it is one of the best pieces of software ever created if all you need is a word processor and a place to keep all of your presentations, not to mention the other programs for viewing family photos and using Excel.
