Toxic pests need to be controlled As a whole, the software is effective in catching problems. The software does not cause any problems for me! A significant amount of space is needed for each segment. It appears that Norton is going all in on making it incredibly difficult for their users to disable the auto renewal settings that they have indicated that they want to use. If they want this enabled, then they desire that you pay twice as much for their auto-renewing services as you would pay They FORCE you to chat with their tech support to turn it off when you go to their website to shut it off. It's not possible to disable the software without going through this ridiculous step, which wasted ten minutes of my time.

Using Norton since the early 90s is a familiar experience for me. Trying to install this version, I was told I would have to provide a credit card to install unless I subscribed to automatic renewals. When I spoke to tech support, they confirmed that I could not install without providing them with Any time after my automatic renewal was set up, I had the option to cancel it. My installation of the program was unsuccessful since the auto renewal selection would not work online I had to call tech support again to cancel. After installation, Norton constantly spams me with pop-ups. The latest business tactics Norton uses to maximize profits are not acceptable to me, as the company ignores customers for the sake of profit. The next year is probably going to be my last.

Even though Norton recommended it could be installed over an existing Norton product, it wasn't able to install. Their solution was to remove, reboot, re-install, run updates, apply patch, and then reboot. Even after doing this several times without success, it didn't Also tried to remove Norton using the tool but it did not work. Using the control panel, I uninstalled the program, but it did not work as well. After carefully deleting everything Norton on the computer, setting up a new account, and installing it, it went smoothly. That must have been a pain.

A computer, Android phone, and a tablet were used on the first computer With my old Norton Security expired versions removed, the Norton Mobile Security app had no problems installing on my Android Tablet. In their instructions, they do not indicate that you should uninstall older Norton Security applications. The uninstall buttons that were built into older versions of Norton Security and Norton Scan made it much more difficult for some reason to remove them. The latest version of "NRnR" had to be obtained for removal from the 1st & 2nd This is the second It is not a smooth or quick A new installation on any other devices after the initial PC was conducted by sending an email invitation to add a device to the account. The following day, I discovered that only 4 of our 6 devices had successfully registered on our new Norton 360 subscription, even though the software is installed on all of them. I waited on the phone for 24 minutes on one call before giving A live chat took 15 minutes then a person couldn't understand what I was saying in English, even though I was clear and concise. After that, I got transferred to another Tech Support Chat with a waiting time of 5 minutes I have 9 minutes for you. It was 35 minutes without anything to show for it. We gave up on it as well. In order to get Norton technical support, you have to be willing to wait on the phone or online for an extended period of time. Despite the software working well, I am hoping I do not require any further tech support. You should not expect to get an answer from an American customer support person right away.

It is hard to find a better security software than Norton. You have to enter your credit card information and enroll in automatic renewal, but you can cancel it later if you want. Additionally, I am not interested in their never-ending nagging to install their Firefox add-on.

You need to DISCONTINUE using any previous versions of (Windows) Norton Internet Security and Norton VPN. As this resurrected Norton 360 does NOT follow the installation instructions! In the absence of such hints, you will probably waste a lot of time trying to diagnose the problem. My research led me to the Community Forums to find that I had to download and run Norton Remove and Replace as well. If you are installing N360 with Malwarebytes, be sure to turn it off. It was a bit tough to install, but once it was installed it worked great. Norton changed some of its products for 2019 the retail products are different from the Norton website. Note, however, that N360 takes a considerable amount longer than normal for it to initialize on Windows desktops or laptops upon any start-up or reboot. Make sure you do not have the VPN built in on the Start menu. It should only be used when needed. Since several years now, I have been using Norton. In the absence of the setup issues, I would have given it a perfect 5 star rating.
