As Soon as the old software has been removed completely, this product is good. It is essential to remove all of the previous antivirus software before installing any new antivirus software. I tried to uninstall my 2013 software using the uninstall program that came with my CD. It failed to uninstall and I was not able to register the product. I received email links to their website from which I could download another uninstaller. I was able to resolve my issue by installing a program. I either had the good fortune of being connected to a qualified technical support person quickly, or some of the previous reviewers were unlucky enough not to have been able to get in touch 'There seem to be a few more bells and whistles on this song. A feature in the application that has bells and whistles. However, the most important function of this tool to me is that it identifies and logs virus and malware files so that my PCs are not contaminated with these types of files. My main attraction to Bitdefender since 2009 when I began using their product has been precisely this.

I suspect that some of the PC-related damage is the result of viruses and other malware. Response times and performance of the system were mentioned in some of the earlier reviews and could be improved by turning the autopilot on The update feature should be taken off of the Main Menu update box and, instead, manually initiated when the computer has a free moment.

I'm sure that the product is just as good as the reviews, but Amazon's description didn't say if it would run on 32 or 64 bit computers, only that it would run on Windows 7, XP, etc. Of course, when I got it. The application will not run on a 64 bit OS but only a 32 bit one. Nevertheless, Amazon was great about the transaction and I am pleased with my purchase.

Like many modern devices, it has plenty of extra features I do not find useful. The only security I did for my computer was a few basic things. The next upgrade is not in the cards for me. On top of that, I installed a site that provided too much security. Block pop-ups with a pop-up After installing and uninstalling bitdefender several times, I was able to get it to function as I like.

After working as a computer repair specialist for 15 years, I can say without a doubt that I love this product. Besides being a good, reliable antivirus, I am also very satisfied with their customer support. Whenever I have had an issue with installation or with a new virus, I have been helped without any problems whatsoever. As a side note, it does not make the product bad just because some users did not follow instructions. It is not the fault of the product if you fail to follow proper installation.

In the wake of installing Bitdefender and removing Norton 360, I was unable to download applications and A couple of weeks after speaking to their support without a solution, I applied a Windows restore to the day before I installed their program and now it has all been fixed.

It works like a charm. The price has always been higher when the subscription is due for renewal. I believe they should offer a better deal to returning customers. McAfee missed a lot of things on this. During install, I ran into a few issues. I contacted support right away and they were able to fix the problem without any issues.

I used Bit Defender daily and purchased a new hard drive. I bought it and used it regularly. We received a virus and now have to get a new hard drive.
