I was able to access the internet as a result of this. It wasn't even close to being worthwhile. It landed me on the internet, and they demanded payment. I'd leave a 0 for both of these, but there isn't one.
It was really bad; it was out of date and had already been used, so we couldn't use it; why sell something we can't use?.
I needed to update, and I needed to use the QB data compatibility. For the past seven years, I've been using QB and QB assisted payroll. We're not computer newbies, and we're not the worst case scenario - It's not about us; it's about the product. br>This item does not function as intended. br>This product has a history of failure. br>In the last three weeks, I've dealt with a variety of issues, including incorrect credit card processing by Intuit, double, triple, and even quadruple charges to customers' cards with no record in the system, and broken hardware (the $450 printer broke after three weeks - 3 hours on the phone to get it replaced, etc. , etc. , etc. , etc. , etc. , etc. , etc. , etc. , etc. , etc. , etc. , etc. br>Overall, I've spent countless hours attempting to resolve issues with their system. br>Here's something to think about: CRP (Cash Register Plus) is the acronym for POS (Point of Sale). It's a POS and a CRP, but not in the sense that they intended! br>Have a good time! br>.
For starters, it wouldn't work with a turnkey hardware solution that came out of the box. To get receipts to work, we had to return the HP printer and replace it with an Epson. Their assistance is dreadful. On their help forum, no one will respond to your questions. Because the software is Java-based, the printer drivers are hard-coded and cannot be replaced with standard HW drivers. If you have an older version and want to upgrade to version 5, you must first upgrade to versions 2, 3, and 4 before installing version 5. I was finally able to get it to work as advertised after two weeks, albeit at a very slow pace. It has now slowed to the point where logging in new users during shift changes takes nearly 5 minutes after a year. After posting for two weeks on the forums, I received no response.
Intuit offers Cash Register Plus as a free download. It's a beta version of a new product, so it's slow, buggy, and has a limited set of features and functions. Messages offering assistance are ineffective. Some of the buttons are inactive and have no effect. The navigation is not intuitive, and the user interface is not user-friendly. The screens, for example, take up the entire window and cannot be minimized, effectively turning your PC into a single-purpose machine. To access any other applications, you must first log out. The developers, in my opinion, do not grasp the fundamentals of Microsoft Windows.
Cash was transferred in a lump sum to the cash drawer when the data was exported to Quickbooks. No customer or item information is transferred.
