This is great to use as a play pin inside or outside, or to block things so your rabbit can't get to it, but don't use it as a cage or construct a second level within the pin. My rabbit panicked when one of her legs slipped through one of the wire squares. She would have broken or dislocated her leg if I hadn't been present at the time. She's also not small, weighing in at 5 pounds. Simply ensure that your rabbit does not step on the grate.

This thing was so much fun to put together, and for the price of this, I could have gotten a terrible cage at PetSmart (those things are expensive and should never house a bunny) There's so much space and it's durable, but I did have to sand down a couple of spots on the paneling because it had a few sharp little bits poking out in the corners. Aside from that, I'm planning on purchasing another set to expand my bunny's running/play area as he grows older!
EDIT: I used willow wood and fleece to make a cover for the upper level so my bun's feet wouldn't go through the squares, and he loves it. Because he is free to roam, I made it his home base, and he frequently visits just to nap. He feels very secure in his cage, and I would highly recommend it if you do your research and know what is safe for your bun.

The description is good, but I was hoping for something a little different. I'd like to construct a cage. That's not a good idea - There aren't any. There's poop all over the place, and there's no good way to do bedding. I ended up making a single-story outside area for my guinea pig, which turned out to be fantastic - the weeds He pigs out because weeds grow through the wiring. Nothing can get to him because the top is covered, but I wouldn't try to make a cage out of it.

This is a fairly inexpensive option that can be made even more affordable by using extra zip ties. The plastic pieces are brittle and easily break. Because the holes are so large, adding a second level and building a ramp necessitates a layer of cardboard to keep the bunnies' legs from falling through. It has the potential to be extremely harmful. The bunnies, on the other hand, are very happy with all the extra space!.
