The eyelet for the pin is about six inches down from the top on the edge. The pin is inserted into the eyelets after the two panels have been joined. About six inches of the pin will be buried in the ground. Because the eyelets on each panel are offset, a pin is used to keep them together.

I camp with several bird-crazy Brittanys, so I purchased these in the 42" height to "fence" the area under my awning so that the dogs don't have to be tethered. Even when I staked them down, my dogs can easily knock over regular exercise pens, but these panels are much more sturdy and taller. My only complaint is that the gates are rather small and difficult for an adult to navigate (they're clearly designed for dogs). They also provide me with some security by preventing someone from approaching my RV door directly. Despite the fact that I have a lumbar fusion that makes lifting and carrying difficult, I have no trouble setting these up or loading them into my storage area.
It's simple to put together; it just takes a little time, and it has to be completely assembled each time; it keeps my dog safe and secure. We don't have to tie him up or keep him on a leash while we're camping. The fence is low enough to step over, but the gates are a pain. If you are unable to step over it, the gate can be modified by placing a pool noodle over the entire section (cut the noodle to the length of the entire gate section. ) Then, on one side, slice the pool noodle, and zip tie one end to the gate section opposite the latch. Push the pool noodle all the way across the section's top. Maintain the open position of the latch. You can now lift the pool noodle to open and close the gate without having to fiddle with the latch.
I only bought it three months ago, and one of the door latches has already started to rust and stick. Is it better than spending thousands of dollars on a backyard fence? Yes, but I'm not sure it'll last the winter. The fence is sturdy, but the wire rods that hold the panels together are a little shaky, so it works well for keeping my daschunds in the yard. When I moved the fence to mow the lawn, several of them bowed. If you plan to move the panels at all, you'll almost certainly need replacement rods. Overall, a good value for money product. We'll have to wait and see how it performs during the winter.
It's incredibly simple to set up and take down. It's in front of the door, so they don't have to be on a leash to get in and out. You can make it any size you want by using as many or as few pieces as you want. All of them are in use by me, and it is a substantial amount of space. Because it is not very tall, it would not be suitable for a jumping dog.
My dogs jump over it, so I modified it by adding a mesh cover on top, and they like to dig, so I added cement tiles to that as well! The issue has been resolved, and the product as a whole is fantastic!.
The fence is one of our favorites. It was simple to put together and strong enough for my medium-sized puppy. I added a nice dog house, pillows, water and food dishes, and a heat lamp for cold mornings inside the fence to give him a safe place to play while outside. With all of his toys, he adores his play area!.
To keep my dogs and rabbits in check, this was exactly what I needed. My fence has gaps in it, and I installed it next to the back patio. It is simple to put together. Although one of my doors was damaged during shipping, it is still functional.
I'm not sure if a larger dog would be able to carry it. My 5 pind yorkie puppy has the ability to move the cage when he wants, but only when he is in it for long periods of time, such as when we go to work. He doesn't move it very often, but he is capable of doing so. In my basement, it's on a concrete floor. It's referred to as his hotel rather than a cage. For him, we've put together a nice little setup.
