For added durability, I like how the green material climbs up the sides about 8 inches. I like that it has pins to keep it in place when we take it outside, because I can't fold it back to fit it into the small bag. As a result, I fold it flat and tuck it behind the dresser. It's not a deal-breaker for me because we use it twice a day.

This is not recommended for chewers, as stated in other reviews. We have two male rats, one of whom is extremely well-behaved and the other of whom is a complete devil! Because the little houduni can escape from anywhere and everything, I've run out of places for them to play outside the cage. We'd have to keep an eye on him while they were in the playpen, so I knew we'd have to keep an eye on him. That is exactly what we did! My daughter and I stayed in the same room the entire time. My little devil took about three seconds to bite through the mesh portion with her on one side and me on the other. He made a hole just big enough for him to escape in a matter of seconds. Fortunately, we were present and he did not escape, but this renders the playpen useless to me. I should've paid attention to the other reviews.

This playpen appeals to me more than others I've seen while looking, owing to the zip-up net lid. br>br>I used this for my kitten when she was acclimating to new environments because she is very skittish and would hide under my bed and not come out to eat or anything. Because the playpen makes her feel safe, I continue to use it as a place for her to eat or to retreat to if she becomes frightened (I keep her carrier in it). br>br>I purchased this two months ago and have had no issues with it except the difficulty in folding it. I'm afraid of breaking it, so I can't fold it back into the bag, but I can fold it into a rectangle shape. If you need a portable playpen, I recommend looking for something that is easier to fold. This is the ideal playpen if it will be left open for an extended period of time.

This is a satisfactory playpen. I bought it for my guinea pigs, but I haven't given it to them yet. I just set it up for the first time today and took my elderly yorkie outside with me on the deck. She doesn't move much, but it was tall enough for her to stand up and move around when she needed to. The mess siding was low enough for her to lie inside and watch what was going on outside the playpen. To prevent her from trying to escape, I kept the mess top closed. Because of the way it was folded at the factory, one of the sides is permanently bent inwards, and it kept folding in on her space. br>br>My only gripe is that there are no instructions for folding it back up that came with it. I did everything the right way, but it wasn't small enough to fit in the pouch, so I had to go back to my order and look at the picture again. The picture is identical to how I did it, but once you twist the corners in opposite directions, the picture becomes very misleading. It's shown in the pouch, neatly tucked in. This is not the case. Not by a long shot. I haven't figured it out yet, and I don't have the strength to make it do what I want. It won't fit in the pouch if you fold it in half and twist it. My advice to the manufacturer would be to make it flat and include a pouch to keep it in when not in use. There will be no twisting in the opposite direction. The pouch would be larger, but no one would have to fight or break it in order to get it back into that tiny pouch. Also, unlike mine, the metal pieces would not be bent.

Torts require opaque sides to feel safe, and this has the perfect height of blocked view to keep her from constantly trying to escape while she gets some exercise. My dogs can't climb in to snuggle with her because of the mesh top. Because the material is thin, I keep my tort's nails trimmed so that her scratching does not puncture the sides. If I didn't, I'm sure she could easily tear this up if I didn't. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative Any animal should not be kept in this enclosure as their primary enclosure. It will not last for a long time. br>br>As others have said, folding back into the case without feeling like it will break is nearly impossible. When not in use, I simply fold the panels into a rectangle shape and store them that way. The mesh lid does not completely detach either. br>br> It can be completely unzipped and opened, but it will still be flopped over the side.

After my kitten's broken leg surgery, I purchased this for him. Certain movements, such as jumping and running, are restricted for him. I wanted to give him something he could walk around in, but not so much that he would injure himself again. This is a fantastic method. I like that it has a zippered top so I can easily feed, clean, and keep an eye on him. And it's mostly mesh so I can see him, but the bottom is non mesh so he doesn't throw litter and it's also easy to clean. I also appreciate the fact that it is foldable and comes with its own storage bag.

This enclosure is a favorite of our dwarf hamster. During the time that his new cage was being delivered, he practically lived in it. He scratches the sides from time to time, but there are no rips, tears, or holes. He seemed to enjoy himself when he was inside with his toys, food, and water, and he loved running around in the area. br>br>According to my niece, it's simple to clean and fold when not in use. It's a plastic enclosure that folds up when not in use. br>br>As for sturdiness, it's a plastic enclosure that folds up when not in use. In the weeks that we've used it and moved it around the house, it's held its shape well. When our toddler tripped over it, it (the enclosure as well as the child) bounced back quickly. br>br>As a result, it received a 5/5 for us and our requirements. We have a dwarf hamster who can fit into an 8-ounce coffee mug.
