YES. While I was cleaning my hamster's cage, I put her in this play pen for 5 minutes. While scooping the bedding out of her cage, I turned around for about 2 minutes, and she had already chewed a hole in one of the corners. She can also climb all the way up and out, preventing me from using this product. If your pet can climb, this is not the product for them!
I have a Dutch bunny who can easily jump it.
I didn't fold it to the bare minimum because I didn't think it was necessary. You can also download the image of the folding method from their website to your phone.
I don't think it's big enough for you and your pet to sit inside, but the walls are a few inches over a foot high and bendable. A couch or even your bed might be a better option, though you'll want to put something down in case they piddle and keep an eye on them if they like to chew, or you'll end up with holes in your couch.

I tried out the playpen for the first time today, and I put my hamster inside to clean her cage. I discovered the hamster exploring the rest of my house five minutes later. She was bored with being stuck inside and quickly devised a plan to get out. Because the trick is simple, she escapes in less than 30 seconds when I put her back in the playpen. She simply runs to the side of the mesh and climbs it. Despite its good quality and simple folding design, I am unable to use the playpen for its intended purpose.
This is a fantastic option for supervised play and bonding with our new bunny babies. No urine leaks because it's waterproof, which is essential for our carpet. This was a great deal, and I'm glad I got it.
When opening, be cautious! It all came together and smacked me in the face. Aside from that, I purchased this for my lizard, who absolutely adores it. I like it so much that I'm thinking of making it his primary cage, complete with heat lamp. He has a lot of space, and it's much larger than I had anticipated. He won't be able to get out because the walls are so high.
Cleaning the cage and moving them around to replace the fleece is a pain, so I went with this because it was a lot easier to use than the metal enclosures I was hauling out and setting up. The cats like that they can still see the piggies, and I like that they can't put their paws through and pat them on the noses or butts, which doesn't hurt them but makes them unhappy. Because it won't keep a cat out, you should only use it when you're watching it or in a room with doors you can close to keep larger pets out. My cats have had guinea pigs on and off throughout their lives, so they understand that their curiosity can only go so far before the squirt bottle is summoned. Since I got it, I've opened and closed it once a week, and it's still going strong. I'm not sure how long it'll last because it seems flimsy, but so far it's been fine! I've attached some screenshots from the weeks I've used it, and as you can see, it looks identical except for what I put inside. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and I'll probably order a backup if I end up using it as a temporary storage facility for them if I have to travel with them.
My svelte pigs have given their approval! Every day, I take them out of their cage for a few minutes and place them in this play pen with a variety of toys. I adore the amount of room they have to run around and play, and it's clear that they do as well. Do you know what it's like to see a pig fly? These guys are so excited that they throw their popcorn straight up in the air. On the other hand, it's a great space saver for me because it folds up so small. There are no leaks, rips, or complaints here.
Cleaning is a breeze. As a result, our Syrian hamster has benefited greatly from this. It's simple to clean, and once I figured out how to fold it back into the small case, it's been perfect; however, the instructions for folding it back into the case are a bit hazy. br>br>It appears that there is now a video on the amazon link that shows you how to get it back into the little circle. It is something I recommend you watch. It took me 30 minutes to figure out what was going on. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Our hamster chewed through the mesh and is rapidly climbing the wall. We covered the hole with duck tape. Simply keep an eye on your hamster and never leave him alone.
The travel system is compact and lightweight. The cage is enormous in size. For the flooring, I wish there was a mat or cushion. I use it for running around and playing with my guinea pig. My kids have no trouble playing with the guinea pig. It is simple to fold. It's simple to clean up. I simply strewn old towels across the floor, making it easier to dispose of or wash. I'd make another purchase. I wouldn't use it as a daily cage.
I brought it home to allow my pet to play inside with my children while keeping my floors free of (you know), but it leaked through the playpen and onto the floor. It wasn't just a minor leak; it was the entire system! It was only used once before I discarded it.
Edit: Now I'm sorry I threw it away; it was a nice playpen. I'll probably buy it again and line it with doggy pads to absorb any spills.
