Even though it isn't the best spinner out there, it can put up with most of them. Though I don't like it as much as their more expensive spinner, it has the advantage of being larger-- For fancy mice now that the spinner has been used for about a month, it is holding up well despite poop, pee, and sound--and the mice have also been using it without complain. The speed at which a barrier is crossed. After I used a vinegar solution to completely disinfect the cage before moving it, I had to fiddle with the hardware to get the best spin, and I'm not sure how well the hardware will hold up to monthly washings, but for the moment it still looks as good as new.
