A brownish or greenish color and possibly even There's a chance that you'll get a certain color. It would be great if Zoo Med would post what color goes with what gallon size. Ecco Carpet won't irritate the geckos' stomach.
If you take care of them, they shouldn't get caught, but I have seen nails get caught and completely ripped off. If you want tile, just get it. It files its nails naturally so you never have to worry about picking up a nail.
It comes in the form of a felt The grass or ground is used to simulate it. The product should not be used to store water and fish in a tank. In the case of a lizard or other animal that is similar to a fish, it would be fine.
Yes, I am. In the Zoo The product was actually recommended by Med to be mounted under the substrate if you have the UTH mounted A heater that has a glass protector on top prevents the animal from getting burned if it burrows into the substrate (which many snakes do frequently) and lays directly on the glass top. The product I am reviewing has been purchased by me personally.

The product I bought is for my 55 gallon tank for my Bearded Dragon. It is usually twice as expensive to purchase this every three months instead of using sand or any other kind of particles available at my local pet store. This carpet is for most 55 gallon tanks. My only problem is that my tank is too long and not wide enough to suit my carpet ideally. My tank fits perfectly as the carpet is easily cuttable, and I can move it to where it fits perfectly and I can reinstall it! In the course of a year, I wash this carpet twice a month, and by the time that three months has come around, it's definitely time to replace it, but this is the safest lining for a lizard who uses his tongue to explore his surroundings - This wouldn't be a problem if he swallowed it. The pros are Please note that The Bearded Dragon won't feel any discomfort from it. Please note that Pets can be bought at cheaper prices than in Please note that This is an easy to clean product. Those cons are Please note that Some 55 gallon tanks are not compatible with this part.
A pro is "***" - The trash can is so easy to clean, simply rinse off solid waste, then toss it in the washer. It comes out dry. Please note that It is a thick material that is easy to cut to size
I love this thing so much that my baby sulcata likes to hide under it Hahaaaa
- The carpet is highly absorbent, urine is quickly absorbed, and I usually wash it once or twice a week*- The fabric holds up well in the washer! It has been washed dozens of times with normal detergent, and it still looks brand new! I washed it in cold water, with standard detergent, no stretching, shrinking or fraying, all in good condition! You can simplify your life by buying twice what you need. The one that needs to be laundered will need to be replaced, so you won't have to wash it twice. Those cons are Please note that No real cons other than I wish it came in wider measurements as my sulcata has a large wooden tortoise house. However, the main purpose of this carpet is to be placed in enclosures that are not as wide as this carpet.
State the size of the carpet. Zoo Med Eco Carpet is one of those 1/8" thick pieces of felt made from recycled plastic containers. If you've never seen it before, it is similar to a soft piece of felt. I really like this product because it is so well woven and relatively soft for a plastic item. Also, it can be washed and reused for cleaning terrariums. In my case, I use it against the glass beneath a layer of bedding for aspen snakes. My python will not burn itself by burrowing or digging out low spots in the bedding above the heater if it decides to burrow or dig out a low spot in the bedding. It is not recommended to use an under glass heater without this or something similar, otherwise, your snake or reptile could get injured.
My one complaint is not with the product, but with the description of it. It's not that all 55 gallon tanks are built to the same dimensions, but that's what they call their 55 gallon tank size. For the packaging, the dimensions are stated in inches. 47 inches is the actual size of the piece of eco carpet. The dimensions of the picture are 5" by 12". This is "5". In my terrarium, I actually have more than 55 gallons and deeper than this carpet, so I cut it in half and overlapped it in the middle to cover the heated side and not have any carpet under the cool side. My snake has not been able to dig under it.
A 36" by 16" by 12" tall piece, it measures 36 x 16 x 12". Using a piece of this under the hide means Harpo can be comfortable laying on the heat mat when he wants to. I have laminate flooring on most of the terrarium floor, but over the area that has the heat mat, the flooring gets really hot. This is exactly what One of the pieces of it is placed in another area of the floor just to provide him with some softness when he needs Cutting and washing this material are very easy.
It is easy to use and works well for my gecko. It is the perfect product for my gecko terrarium that I have been using for years. I like the convenience and ease of use of this software You can cut them to fit your tank (I buy the largest size I can find and cut 1-2 per package to fit my smaller tank). *Washable- There is no worry of sand or gravel getting stuck in his foot pads
No worries about anything getting stuck in his feet
I recommend this product to anyone who owns a gecko.
Two of my pythons burrowed under it, which is my only complaint about this. I love those scalebabies, but they are so silly. Then I went and bought some velcro strips to hold it down where it covers their UTH, and once I put those in place I anticipate that I won't have any more While I waited for their UTH to turn off, I turned it off so they wouldn't There is one tank where they burrow under it, but I have this in five of my eight habitats, so it seems to be an excellent product. This won't be a problem except in the other tanks since snakes in those tanks are burrowers (corn snakes and rat snakes enjoy digging in soil, so I won't have to steal that from them). I have a lot of pythons and boas who love this tank!.
Using it as a basking platform for my red eared slider turtle is just fine. The turtle has no problem sitting on it, and it is easy to cut to my individual measurements. I also like the look of it. I think this is a good quality item. Using her nails doesn't cause her to rip.
The leopard gecko I have loves this. While it is OK for the price, I ended up putting it in the enclosure rather than covering it with other substrate. It would be a good idea to buy In that case, I would only get this if you wanted to add something else on top.
