The Arizona Blonde and this product go together. It is a light and dry substrate. This is an easy to clean product.
As far as I am aware, I have never used that brand or type of bag, but if arid means dry, then no. This bag was reasonably moist though. I think you meant it was still good quality and works for most people, even if that's not what you meant
BioBedding TROPICAL Bioactive Substrate from Josh's Frogs
While a substrate such as this one works well for leopard geckos, it is not designed for bioactive leopard geckos. We recommend "Josh's Frogs BioBedding Desert Bioactive Substrate" instead for bioactive leopard geckos.

The materials were used in different ways in the enclosures of my three geckos. You won't have to worry about getting splinters in your gecko's feet as it's much softer than coconut fiber, and it stays relatively moist/humid if you need it to! The substrate I plan on using for the future is awesome and I will make sure to use it.
It is exactly as advertised and has proven very useful in burrowing and humidity management. These practices finally worked after a couple of years of struggling to stay stable with humidity in the enclosures of our Ball Pythons, and both of them respond well to them. substrate is quite expensive for the quantity in a bag, however, so anyone running multiple enclosures would have a harder time justifying the purchase. While Josh's Frogs makes a great brand of houseplants (we have purchased houseplants from them as well), their other substrates that are coconut fiber-based and/ or are designed to hold humidity and heat would probably come in handy for anyone new to humidity conditions. Those inclined to own reptiles may be thinking this way when reading reviews.
The fabric is extremely light weight, so it can be kind of dusty when dry, but it can be misted away, and the dust is removed. The towel can even be wrung out if you want it to be less moist. It's even possible to use the substrate in a "soupy" consistency if you're keeping frogs. Picture I have included is of the "Dig-" The photo shows "It" bedding, which does not include mulch, but is incredibly clean, the mulch in the photo is my addition. Upon running water through the mix and wringing it out, I found that the water had come out clear and was not cloudy or stained It's a thumbs up, I'll be back for more.
The company I order crickets from orders them for my partner. To house my snails, I purchased this dirt. They are as happy and healthy as can be now that they are planted with sphagnum moss. I am always pleased to see everything arrive quickly and alive.
As I mix in For my little frogs, it makes a great substrate when combined with Plantation soil. There isn't a lot of liquid in the dirt (don't go into it). The product was excellent and I would buy it As well. It has become the #1 seller in my opinion for all kinds of exotic products.
We have a ball python and a tarantula that both seem to enjoy.
