It was unfortunate that the platform arrived broken, but it all worked out in the end. We have two reptiles in separate tanks, and due to the platform's size and the fact that it broke almost in half, we were able to use it in both. These are favorites of both our skink and bearded dragon. They take advantage of their time in the sun and have a great time. I'm sorry it broke due to poor packaging and handling, but it's all good in the end. 🙃.
When his natural habitat is Brazilian heat and humidity, it retains heat and keeps him warm in our northeastern colder temperatures. Since we brought it into his house, he has spent the majority of his time on it.
My blue tongue skink enjoys getting warm on it, so I use it for him.
The Tortoise was used as a basking stone because the stone holds the temperature well.
After removing the packaging, the corners were chipped. It was presented in a professional manner. I'm not sure what caused it to fall apart. So far, it appears that the product does what it is supposed to do. It would have been nice if it had arrived all at once.
Warmth from the basking bulb is retained and evenly distributed. It's a hit with my dragon.
Was exactly what I was looking for, but I wish it came in a larger size.
