The mesh, in my opinion, would be adequate.
I believe they'd take a bite out of it.

Three out of five of the items were excellent! br>br>The hammock, suction cups, and plain vine were all excellent, and I will use them in my gecko tank without hesitation. The vine with leaves looked great at first, but closer inspection revealed that it was covered in fake moss adhered to it with a stinky adhesive that comes off if you just touch it, leaving tiny green plastic fibers all over the place. THIS COULD BE SERIOUSLY HARMFUL FOR YOUR PETS. Outside of my animal enclosures, I'll use the vine with leaves as decoration.
Excellent product at an excellent price!! When I first opened the package, there was no chemical odor. I did open the items and lay them out flat for at least 48 hours before using them, just to give them "ease," and it made a huge difference. "Maverick," our Bearded Dragon, adores his new home and has easily filled a 4-foot space with just one purchase!.
Check out the critique. The string was used to tie the "bridge," as I call it, to raise it in the air, and I was very excited about it. Everything was fine until I noticed that my gecko Dimitri had a green blotch on his eye when I took him out! One of the branches has fake moss on it, and dye got into his eye as a result. br>If this branch hadn't been trash, I would have given it five stars. I immediately removed it and washed his tiny head. (Other items in his tank were not included and had to be purchased separately. ).
I didn't even use the vines because they were essentially useless. There is no way for a reptile to sit on them without falling. And I despise the fact that I can only use suction cups with a full circle so I can tie string around them to hang things; what are you supposed to do with ones without a back or with a half moon to hang things? There's no way I'll be able to use them all. I should've done a whole bag of the circle ones instead. Because the other piece had become too small, I had to switch and use the larger rope section for her hammock. br>My beardie is a growing beardie, and she quickly outgrew the little rope thing; they do, however, send plenty of string, which is fantastic! It's also been used in other projects.
Because I'm so busy with work and commuting, I rarely write reviews. This is a truly remarkable product. I had no idea how to set up the vines when I got them, and the suctions cups are of good quality, but once I did, my baby bearded dragon immediately took to it and began climbing the vines. br>br>Before I got the vines, my poor lizard looked sad and bored because he spent most of his time sleeping in his water bowl(which is dangerous). But now he sleeps on the vines and spends his days and nights there. br>br>It's fascinating to see the difference between a bored dragon who wants to get out of the tank and one who is climbing the vines and basking in the sun lamp as if he's in Hawaii or somewhere tropical. br>br>You did a fantastic job of making it look and feel like a vine that he instinctively wants to climb.
This is what I used for my hermit crab tank, and it worked perfectly. Suction cups are so effective that I've used them on items that aren't included in this set. If you're going to use this in a humid environment, remove the metal rings from the mesh net. I just replaced the rings with the string that came with it, and the smaller suction cups on the net with the larger ones that came with it, and it works fine. Also, to keep the seagrass hammock from becoming moldy, I washed it with hot water and sprayed it with my saltwater mix (I use instant ocean).
It would be better if there were instructions for newcomers like me. I only gave it four stars because some of the items in the packaging are problematic for me. The woven hammock is nice, but it's smaller than I expected; this is my fault, not the company's or the product's (which isn't a reason for four stars). I should've double-checked the dimensions. ) It's simple to fix; simply order another square and connect it to the one you already have. When it comes to attachment, I believe this item requires instructions. I'm not sure how to properly connect the items. We are not in possession of a bearded dragon. I'll do some research to ensure everything is in order. I'm a little concerned about the thick vine-like thing. It not only has a thick, sharp metal wire in the center (presumably to help it hold shape and attach), but it also has an odd odor. I haven't yet put it in the tank. I'm not sure if this is normal or if something got on it and is posing a threat to the little guy. It would be fantastic if there were instructions included. The suction cups are refusing to suction for some reason. It's possible that I'm not putting them in the right place, or that they're just a cheap suction cup to start with. It would be fantastic to have instructions once more. Overall, I like the product; I have a few issues with it because of the lack of instructions, but it's a nice set. I 100% will be satisfied with it as soon as I do some research on the items and setup as I do some research on the items and setup as I d I'm going to buy another section most likely. Please don't let my negative review scare you away from a fantastic purchase. Just make sure you're not as clueless as I am when it comes to tank accessories.
But, hey, it's not like I'm complaining. It's a hit with Bugsy. I was fed up with staring at a bare tank, so I spruced it up and bought her some vines. She's a little bigger than most Bearded Dragons, so based on the photos of previous purchases, I think this is a good length for her. Her tail, like her legs, is still dangling. However, she appears unconcerned. It's a win because she spends most of her days lounging on it while watching TV. Oh, yeah, either she's getting fat or the suction cup can't support her weight. lol.
