My husband looks after a very old horse (approximately 28) five mornings a week, and after learning that she enjoys peppermints, we set out to find sugar-free peppermint treats for her. Unfortunately, she couldn't chew one of these Ginger Ridge treats when he gave it to her. The jackpot was only hit after three tries. Muffins with Studs – which he must halve for an old acquaintance. Ginger Ridge treats are likely to be beneficial to horses with stronger chewing abilities.
My sister-in-law is a horse trainer and uses these, so when I was looking for a treat to give out on her farm, she recommended them to me. When the cows hear the bag crinkle, they inhale them, and the horses inhale them as well. Our dogs, it turns out, enjoy them just as much. They make our golden/lab pass some really bad gas, so be warned. The chihuahua and pitbull, on the other hand, are in excellent condition.
I had to pay ten dollars. My horses love it, and it's only 99 cents for a bag! I even tried a small bite to see what they tasted like, and they reminded me of an oat granola bar or something similar. My old rescue mare enjoys chewing on them because they're soft. I'll definitely buy from you again!.
On my mare, I've sampled every flavor available. She approves of each and every one of them. It's nice to have smaller training treats that aren't as hard on the teeth. They're not as sweet as the sugary alternatives.
I was disappointed to discover that the ingredients were not the same as those listed on the package. I chose these primarily because of the ingredients, but I'll feed them regardless.

I like how low in sugar they are. They are a big hit with my horse. I originally purchased two, but had to place an additional order for two more! The ingredients are all natural, and the shapes are entertaining.
