Depending on the weather, travel-related exposure, etc. , we take Ivermectin at least twice a year and sometimes three times throughout the year. We have used the Duramectin brand for years and none of the horses seem to dislike It's always a success to dispensate tubes at first try, too.

As stated on the product label, it is a paste, but it is in fact a gel. Rather than releasing in increments, it came out in one piece. For a 1250 lb. person who wanted a jel and was going to use the whole tube, the tube would be your only option. If it were a horse, I think it would be fine. Although the product wasn't as advertised, or as accurate as the dispensing process, for my purposes it was not suitable for use. This wouldn't be a purchase I would make.
