You've got some good stuff here. Some said to mix with water, but most said to mix with oil. How good is it to try and get them to drink if you can't get them to drink. Because horses are always hungry, finding a substance they can mix with your food (beet pulp) was an awesome discovery. The boy is doing well after nearly having a colic episode due to dehydration.

A picky horse didn't take to the taste, the cost, or the quality of the product

This was fine for 2 out of 3 of our horses, but our picky TB didn't like it much. They did seem to sweat more in the heat when they wore this. The only way I could get Mr. Picky to eat it was to switch back to a pelleted electrolyte. Additionally, I thought this powder was way too expensive for what it was.

Despite the fact that he ate everything I gave him until now, since I added electrolytes to his diet, he refused to take his supplements. Then maybe I should just give it to him in a syringe with apple sauce, so that it doesn't go to waste.
