In the past few months I have received replacement blades for the solocomb, but not the solocomb itself Go elsewhere to place your order! In my opinion, solocombs are interesting
3/5

Whenever I'm playing solocombs, I'm really enjoying it. As far as solocombs are concerned, I would say that I love them. Their effectiveness makes pulling a mane that has already been thinned a piece of cake. In that case, please do not order this item from this seller! The replacement blade I ordered for my solocomb was provided to me. My initial thought was, "Oh, that was just a fluke. ". I returned the blade because it was the incorrect item, and they sent me another one as a replacement! The management of this company is utterly.

A time-saver, but not a significant one
4/5

In all honesty, it took just as long to pull as it did to pull. I also found that the first time I tried it, the results looked pretty awful (like a pair of scissors had just been used). However, after using it a few times, my gelding's mane does look nice and as if it will be As opposed to pulling, it does not thin out the mane (this can be either a pro or a con, depending on your goals). With the Comfort Comb, there are no more sore hands after pulling! This comb is great for both me and my horse! I would say that if you have a crazy, unruly, mess of a mane, pulling would be the best However, if you have the time and patience to maintain your horses mane regularly, this is a very worthwhile alternative.

My sensitive mare will not tolerate her mane so this works perfectly for her
5/5

It is perfect for my sensitive mare who isn't able to handle being pulled by her mane. It took off about 6" of my mane using this tool! When it's pulled the old fashioned way, it can sometimes leave a "cut" look, but it can be easily resolved with a couple of strands. My intention is to get it because of the cost difference between buying a brand-new one and a replacement blade. I wish they.

After about half an hour of cutting, I abandoned the first use
3/5

I used this to trim my horse's mane until it stopped working halfway. The moment you use it for the first time. It would not be recommended. It still doesn't work like it did on the first half of the mane after I removed it, cleaned it, and re-assembled it. It is easy to picture how the horse looks right.

In the past, they have sent me a replacement blade instead of the product
3/5

I filed a complaint after I received a replacement blade. They sent me a new replacement blade a second time. It's still a good deal if you need to replace a blade though, it's $1 cheaper so that's something.

Love this solocomb since I was a kid
5/5

The Solocomb is what I used to remove her mane from my mare many years ago, rather than pulling it. It's the same love I had ten years ago for my handsome gelding, as I still do today. Neither you nor the horse will get cut off No tears are shed as a result of "pulling" a mane. As I remember having it for several years previously, I am confident it will continue to hold up for some time. The reason you won't regret not pulling is that you don't want to. There is no waiting and it goes fast. In my opinion, it would make a good dog-coat trimming tool.

It was the wrong item that was shipped! It is not in my possession
3/5

Twice I have ordered the comb and haven't received I did not get a comb the first time and returned to exchange blades but did not get one the second time. It's necessary for me to purchase the comb so I can fit the blades inside. This is annoying.

This is a great product
5/5

For my gelding, this was exactly what I needed. The only way he can shave his mane was with sedation, so this was the perfect solution for him. Is 17, has a thick mane (like a Shetland pony), and has the look and temperament of a stallion. I used one hand warmblood for the task and it took me around one hour. In short, it took me five hours, in small chunks at a time. At first he was apprehensive but realized very quickly I wasn't pulling, and then he relaxed and even enjoyed the process. It would certainly be cheaper than having the vet sedate him, even if I have to change the blades every pull. However, I cannot speak to the durability of the blades yet. You can take a look at it just as well as pulling the.
